In the event of people turning on your water on purpose, this is the prevetion device you need, it is great. A little tricky on some faucets, but it is realtively easy to get them on once you think on it a bit.

My wife's business is in a high foot traffic area. Often times, homeless people would wander by and use the spigots on the outside of her office building, sometimes leaving the water running or dripping. These (paired with a lock) made it extremely easy and reliable to prevent water usage by people passing by, and ensures that the water doesn't get left on.

This is a good, sturdy item made of great metallic material and super easy to install and keep secure. Will repurchase

I purchased this in part because it says it can be used with a padlock that has a shackle diameter of 3/8 of an inch (0.375 inches or 9.5mm), it even recommends such a lock in the instructions, and lucky me I have several weather resistant padlocks of this size. Turns out this is false and you cannot fit such a lock on the device. The coating on the metal makes the hole diameter just a tad too small. This is disappointing because it tells me the manufacturer wrote up some instructions without even testing the device, so who knows what other corners were cut. Considering the price it really ought to come with an accurate description of its specs. The biggest standard shackle size you can fit through the hole is 5/16 of an inch (0.3125 inches or 8mm), so be aware of that if you are also buying a lock to go with it. Other than that annoyance, the device works as intended and seems well built.

I got these Fozz Locks after trying 2 other types of spigot locks. I had caught some workers from different companies taping into our water and needed to find a solution to stop them from doing that. Other brand designs not only would spin or shift around, but you could fit your finger into the gap or hole and still mess with the water. But these locks sit on the spigot so well, there seems to be no way for the spigot to be tampered with. It was a bit tricky to close it over the spigots at first but once the interior rubber material relaxed a bit, they were perfect. I am so thankful for this design.

this product is well made but not indestructible. The unhoused people managed to pry it off.

First, I am an elderly woman with hand dexterity issues. Except for the screw to the faucet handle being frozen in place on my front yard faucet, this lock is super easy to install. Since I couldn't unscrew my handle, I couldn't use the included Fozlock security disc, but I managed to mickey mouse a collar which worked out the same. This really gives me piece of mind. Someone in the neighborhood thought it would be funny to glue my water hose to the faucet and punch holes in the hose line. On top of that, I would find puddles or dampness around the stonework surrounding the faucet. I love that this secures the faucet, looks attractive, and it can be locked. I keep the hose separated and locked up now as well. Water is expensive in California, as are plumbers who were nice enough to include cutting the hose off the faucet when they were out here visiting for another reason. I really appreciate this product!

Excellent product, I've tried other products to prevent people from freely using my water and this is the best one by far. It fits snugly and best of all I don't see how this can get stuck. I've used those green bibs that you screw on the faucet, those rust and get stuck after a while. You definitely need to follow the instructions when installing it, its not complicated, but a few important pieces need to be in there to prevent someone from turning on the water by jiggling the whole enclosure. It is definitely a quality product, I wish it wasn't so pricey. Some important pros. You can use your own lock. The enclosure covers everything including the joint for the pipe. This prevents people from simply unscrewing the whole faucet piece to use your water.
