I bought this book to understand a unique method of mapping that allows a full-globe map with minimal distortion for major areas. In particular it shows the relation of major features to other features on the entire globe. It also shows very large features that contain linear patterns like river systms and oceanic currents. I am using such a figure in a book that will be published.
