Why did you pick this product vs others?:It was a style that I really liked and had plenty of slots for pictures. Appearance:It’s beautiful! The feeling of the book is nice and soft and just a nice quality product, would buy again.

I bought the album for my daughter's two hundred and some wedding photos. I loved that the album had spots for both vertical and horizontal pictures. Putting all of those pictures in the album couldn't have been easier. Even when I made a mistake, it wasn't hard at all to move the pictures.My younger daughter had a paper cutter, which was needed to trim the photos for the front cover of the album. Order an extra copy of each picture that you want to place in the front cover. The front cover is more than worth the effort.

I bought for a Christmas present, they loved it, completely filled it with their weddings pictures, sits beautifully on their table.

The quality of this album is very good. I really like the slip in pockets. They seem durable. I also like the arrangement of 4 verticle and 2 horizontal photos on each page. I do not like the methof for placing pictures on the cover. I expected each photo to have a separate compartment. The photos require placement on a single page that slides in. Really pleased with the album.

This album has its shortcomings but it's still a pretty decent album.Cons:1. It's not a traditional wedding album with 'hard' cardboard type pages, the pages are soft covered with flimsy plastic that promises no real durability.2. While each page holds five 4X6 photos, two slots are vertical (portrait) and three are horizontal (landscape). There is a certainty that some verticals photos will have to be placed sideways (see photo).3. I think the fact that the pages are black, takes away from the "wedding-ie" look of the album.*** More of a note than a con. The photos in the horizontal slots are going to slip, slide/fall out. Because of the pages' fabric, they come with no adhesive that regular 'hard' paged albums tend to have. A bit of glue on the back of each quickly solves this problem. I'm guessing this is the reason other reviewers are referring to it as a scrap book.Pros:1. It really is beautiful from the outside that gets me a lot of compliments.2. It has a sturdy feel and the cover display adds a degree of class (see photo).3. The pages themselves are securely fastened to the cover (see photo), it's the flimsy plastic on the pages I have no confidence in.4. It does hold the advertised 240 photos5. It is certainly worth the price.The cons are really nothing I can't live with. Overall, I think it is a great buy. I would recommend and would certainly buy again.*** Check the pictures

I bought this album as a gift to a friend for her wedding. As the MOH I took it upon myself to collect photos from the entire engagement period and filled this entire book with photos from the proposal to dress shopping to the bachelorette party, bridal shower, and more. I read reviews about the photo inserts not being what was expected but I got all the sheets as listed and they were all the ones with the 5 slots. The photo holders on the cover were a bit of a pain to work with but overall this was the perfect purchase for what I needed.

This album's design is simple but elegant. It appears to be sturdy and photos fit perfectly in its pockets. I love the fact that it has both horizontal and vertical pockets. I'm satisfied with this purchase and would definitely recommend this item.

I love this album! It was a little tricky getting the pictures in the front, but we just matched them up (with a bit of overlap) with the pictures on the piece of paper inserted in the front, and taped them on it. It took a little adjusting but it worked and it looks beautiful! I also like that it has spots for vertical and horizontal photos. A few times this proved to be a challenge as I would sometimes have 4 horizontal and one vertical I wanted on a page, but it worked out (stuck a few in sideways). If you have not printed the photos you'd like to use in this album, it is something to consider. Each page holds 2 vertical and 3 horizontal photos.
