Large and roomy poncho.
Nice poncho , large , can fit over backpack. Has buttons on side to wrap if needed . Comes with a nice stuffsack, although hard getting it back in the sack. Great for the price.

Really good quality
This one was purchased for my son, to use at college. I have had another one of these ponchos for regular camping use for over 5 yrs. That one has one small tear, where it got caught on something. A small duct tape patch, and otherwise it is good as new. It is very versatile, and I like how it can unsnap to lay flat. It is heavier than the typical poncho, and I have used it as a ground cloth when sleeping on the ground, and as a blanket in an unexpected cold snap. It can be a bit of a challenge to fold it back up and lay flat to fit back in the storage pocket. The one thing I would change is incorporate the storage poach into the poncho, so it could be a usable pocket when wearing, and less likely to misplace.

Durable
I haven't had to use it yet in the rain. I bought it for backpacking (desert hiker). I have used it as a ground cover to sit on when camp cooking or taking a break. and as a mat outside my tent door many times so it's gotten abused. It's holding up great. It is bulky but I don't want to spend an arm and leg for something lighter that might not even keep me dry. At least this is useful, pulling double duty and isn't just dead weight in my pack.

Quite literally almost killed me...
Not 100% a product fault...First thing first: this is not a slip-over hoodie style poncho. It's got plastic snaps along both sides and they're not super secure. That being said, I was on a three day motorcycle ride on 9/11/24. My buddy and I were on day two when we got caught in an Oregon coast fall storm. The forecast had called for the possibility of showers so I had this poncho with me, just in case. We called our trip early and started heading home. Due to the heavy rain, I was wearing my poncho. At one point, I passed a dump truck heading the opposite direction. The blast of wind from the truck caused the snaps on the poncho to open and then blew the hem up so that it completely covered my visor, rendering me effectively blind. Before I was able to stop safely, I drifted into the oncoming lane of traffic and was struck by a pickup that was unable to avoid me.I'm lucky to be alive, but my bike was totalled and my right tibia and knee were broken, requiring major surgery and a lengthy recovery (8 months and counting.)The failure of those snaps isn't really a fault of the poncho, more a limitation. It's Frogg Togg so quality is excellent, but the light weight plastic snaps failed pretty easily, with disastrous results (for me.) If it's used for light activity, I'm sure that it will serve your needs, but don't try to wear it while doing anything too strenuous. Those weak plastic snaps are whet prevent me from rating it higher than three stars.
