Maintenance:

The bag of bamboo charcoal is found inside the plastic container. In order to reach the bag, pull gently from the sides in opposite directions.
Charge the bag into the sun for at least 3 hours prior to the first use.
Reuse up to 2 years. The moso bamboo charcoal bag lasts up to two years. From a cost perspective, the refrigerator box will save you money by preventing you to buy unnecessary products. From a health perspective, it will save your immune system by improving the quality of the air and your food.
Rejuvenate in sunlight. Once a month, remove the box cover and place the charcoal bag outside. The UV rays from the sun will clear out the pores of the bamboo charcoal, making it ready to absorb again. Leave the bag outside for at least 2-3 hours.
Recycle into your garden. After two years as an air purifier, the moso bag will make a wonderful addition to your garden. Simply cut open the moso bag from inside the refrigerator box and sprinkle the bamboo charcoal into the soil, where it helps plants absorb moisture and nutrients.

Safety Warning

For correct usage and maintenance, please follow the steps: 1. The charcoal bags are inside the plastic containers. 2. Get the bags out of the containers and leave them into direct sunlight for at least 3 hours prior to the first usage. If no sun is available, leave them inside the house, into direct outside light, in a non-humid environment. Each bag contains natural charcoal, and they have millions of little pores that catch odor, bacteria and humidity. So, we need to clean the product prior to the first usage. 3. Put the bags back inside the plastic containers, and place them near the source of smell. For the first time, you need to leave it there for 1-2 days, or even 1 week if necessary. Don't remove it in all this time. 4. Each 30-45 days, repeat step 2 and get them ready for the next cycle. 5. The products last up to 2 years, with proper maintenance. After that, it can be a great addition to your plants. Just get the bags out of the plastic containers, cut the bag open and pour the charcoal from inside into the soil, close to the roots of the plants. It will help with maintaining moisture and nutrients close to them.
