Perfect for bringing home wine on a flight
I used this to bring six bottles of wine home on a flight during a recent vacation. Tape it well and you'll be fine. Check it with a human being so they put a fragile sticker on it. I had no issues with all bottles arriving intact, even with a connecting flight. Box is still in good shape so I can use it again. To avoid extra checked bag fees on the way out, you can have it shipped to your hotel so you don't have to take it when you head out on your trip, you just have to bring it back home.

Great Sturdy Box. We shipped wine with bottle insert. It held up great.

Needed to put it inside a bigger box w/packing to ensure complete shipping protection!
Worked great for shipping a rare bottle to an auction house!

The best shippers!
I’ve ordered these shippers multiple times. The quality of the box and styrofoam is always good and I’ve never had any issues with the items that I’ve packed inside of them, even if the box got damaged during shipping.

Troublesome disposing of styrofoam
Works well, but after you move disposing of a huge amount of styrofoam is troublesome.

Already travelled the pond once. I usually get 3-4 trips out of one of these with decent care.
The box works well for bringing Wine, etc. home on the airplane. I've just recently returned from Europe and the box had no issues as checked baggage. Clearly label your name and phone number on at least three locations! I guarantee the airline will cover at least one of them with their baggage label. Also, put a business card on top of the foam insert _inside_ the box.I do have a few suggestions for the manufacturer which would make things much nicer for any user.1. Slightly heavier cardboard stock for the box. The packaging is really thin so the foam insert starts to get damaged immediately. If someone is packing and moving this themselves they can handle with care but ramp rats and baggage systems are notoriously brutal.2. Go ahead and put several passes of tape over the bottom closure. The single line of tape the box is delivered with will NOT stand up to shipment. The one time I didn't add reinforcement to the bottom tape of a new box it blew out and the foam was trashed on the first usage.3. Do your customer a favor. Deliver the box with a small roll of tape with enough to go over the top of the box with decent overlap about 3x. With the box empty, the tape could rest in one of the bottle spots. If the tape is some of that brown, get it damp to activate, box tape you could even have it pre-cut to length Probably the greatest annoyance of this is that once I have the box full of bottles I now have to hunt for a store that has packing tape in a country where I may not know the language. Even if I have to pay a dollar or so more it is a courtesy I'd remember as a customer.
