Remy92313 100% New Alternator

The alternator case broke within 3 weeks of being on the vehicle. I returned it within the proper time line. However was charge a $79 restocking fee. Absolutely ridiculous. Any other company would have sent a replacement. Horrible customer service. Buy from a local auto parts store and get a real warranty.

Works perfectly in my 94 GT convertible. It took a day to break in but absolutely no issues at all.

I was worried about getting a knock off, but this appears to be an authentic Remy, new, not rebuilt. Came in authentic Remy box with matching paperwork.I used this to do a 3g alternator upgrade on my 1988 F-150, and it worked great with minimal trimming of the factory bracket.I removed ALL factory wiring to the alternator and upgraded with new 4AWG wiring and a 150 amp mega fuse. You will need a new 3/8 x 2 bolt and nut for the top bracket, as this version does not have a threaded mounting ear like the factory.I pulled the pulley off and removed the three bolts holding the case together in order to re-clock it so that the wiring connections face the passenger side, rather then pointing into the engine block. It was very easy to clock, don't hesitate to try. Makes wiring much easier. Check YouTube for a video if you're nervous.Overall, I'm happy with it. I now get 14.5v regardles of headlights, fan, or wipers running. It's nice to not shut off the fan to get the turn signals to blink fast again! I should have done this years ago.
