I have ordered one other dress from Allegra K before, I ordered a large because I am a 36DDD, have a 32ish inch waist, am approximately 45-47 inches around the hips, and about 5'6 1/2 tall. It was a little too baggy for my liking, and upon reading the reviews for this dress, I decided to go with a medium since it was supposed to be stretchy. I put it on today, and it fits like a glove! It's not too tight on my chest, drapes perfectly around my hips, and isn't tight on the stomach at all. Also, I have rather thick arms, and the sleeves stretch more than enough to accommodate them. If you are between sizes, I personally think it's worth the gamble of sizing down, especially if you are looking for a more fitted dress. It has quite a bit of stretch to it, and is very very flattering on the curves. It's about a mid-thigh fit, definitely not too short, but not too long either. Buy it, you won't regret it!

After reading the reviews of it running small, I sized up and the fit was perfect! I usually wear an L and glad that I ordered an XL. Very flattering, got a lot of compliments.

This is really only flattering if you’re perfectly slim, and under 30. I am in no way overweight (5”5, 135 lbs), but this dress seems to showcase bulges. I liked it in theory. In reality it just was not good.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! The dress is exactly as described. At a great price, a great looking elegant dress! It's not cotton obviously, but the lining is great and it's tight around the waist, loose at the bottom. Also, the smell is not repulsive like most cheap outfits that are shipped from China. Also, it really goes well with the horror/fantasia theme look!The shipping took quite a while but the item arrived withing the delivery date range on Amazon. Like all Allegra products I have ordered so far, it had a tag on and was in excellent condition. It is sewn together very nicely with a zipper on the back and a cute tiny pearl button on top of it. The material is not cotton, just as you see in the description, it's mostly polyester. I was worried that this may render the dress impossible to wear in summer, but it feels very nice and you hardly sweat in it. The other upside of the material used is, that the skirt part does not wrinkle! So you could easily move around in this dress for hours at a formal event.I am also in love with the cut. It's comfortable around the shoulders (which is not that common at least for someone with wide shoulders like me), and tighter around the upper abdomen/waist. This dress gives your body a beautiful shape, as it slowly loosens up into a flare skirt. The soft, stretchy fabric makes it even more elegant. The tighter parts hug your curves well and the flare skirt flows over very nicely. Also, I am 5'9 and measure 34-23-34. The length is perfect for me, as it ends mid-thigh, even though I'm rather tall. I ordered an XS and couldn't be happier with the results!This is a very unique, elegant dress; appropriate for formal events, costume parties (cult/horror theme), stage/performances (yes, it's that good!), and photo shoot purposes. I absolutely recommend this product, as well as the seller, and I will be a returning costumer.

A little bit short for me to wear alone, but being a 5’7” gal, that tends to happen. However, with some black tights underneath, it was very much office appropriate!

I was nervous about this purchase initially because it seemed to have mixed reviews. But after I tried it on - I’m in love! It’s super flattering to my shape. The length is perfect (usually have an issue with things being too long because I’m short). The material is soft and definitely has the right amount of stretch but still holds shape. I feel amazing in it and want to wear it everywhere! I gave it 4 stars only because I don’t know how it will hold up during/after being washed. I am 5’3”, about 180-185 pounds, 36DD chest. I purchased the large and it is perfect. I’m also bottom heavy (big butt) so I was definitely nervous about the coverage in back, but that is also not an issue at all.

I don't find this a Halloween dress. I did purchase it to wear to RHPS to be in costume as Janet but I also wear it to work. Love it!

Brilliant dress and washes well. Fits beautifully and swings with the body.Button not sewn onto collar, instead a spare is attached to the label in hem but there is an elasticated button hole for it. Slightly shoddy as it should be attached?

It was thinner than expected and stretcher than expected. Though its my fault for not checking the fabrik. It's okay, if you don't want to spend that much. It's okay for what it is. The shoulders, for me, where a little unflattering as there was to much fabric.I would recomed tights (with the tummy compressing pant bit) or tummy suckers (like spandex) if you have a little belly as you will be able to see it. At least in my case. I wore 2 layers of tights and was a lot happier with the result. Overal, it was okay. And as a costume? Perfect.If you're looking fore a more cotton, tougher dress. I am quite a big build (38" and 5'11) but this dress is nice and stretchy so it works. Even though I bought an XL it does lift quite high as a result. Goes lovely with some blue suede shoes and can be made to look quite formal. For £23 I was quite pleased, in fact I bought 2. Only down side is that it's not lined and make sure you use a colour catcher the first couple of times you wash it because the blue dye will run into the white collar.

Get what you pay for. It fits well because of its stretchy fabric. Im only using this for Halloween, i dont think it could be used for anything else though.

This product didn’t last one wash. The black from the main of the dress turned the white collar into a horrible grubby grey. It was a total waste of money and I won’t be able to wear it again. So disappointed feel like I’ve been robbed.
