my deer love it---not for hunting just watching beautiful white tail deer.

Works great. It’s been in the woods for a couple monthes now. Slow feeds any deer that come. Bucks have a hard time getting their snouts all the way in to lick the corn down into the feeder. The lid is alittle tedious to take on/off. Other than that. Great purchase.

I ordered this after wild hogs flipped my plastic Moultrie deer feeder, thinking that this would be more stable.While it is heavier, the attachment points and CoG are slightly worse than the plastic model.Plus it arrived dented and with paint flaking.In isolation, it’s a great feeder, but having already owned the plastic one, I’d pass and buy 2 plastic ones for the same money.I was also able to repair my original plastic one with webbing and epoxy resin.

It works like it should. The deer eat from underneath. The raccoons will always find alternative routes to getting inside.

Good product. Just need some common sense to understand how a 55 gallon barrel will feed deer before you buy.

I was really excited to see that Moultrie came out with a gravity feeder that I could use to feed protein. Unfortunately, they under delivered big time. The legs for this feeder are only two sections long and if you put the belt around the lowest part of the feeder, it still only comes to 29” from the ground to the actual opening of the gravity funnel that the deer eat from. The lid is a pain in the rear to lock down and you will need a flat head screw driver or a socket every time you fill it. The absolute worst part though has to be the quick release mechanism. Their little ring that lock it in place gets knocked off by the slightest motion. I don’t see how a deer feeding will not dislodge it. I moved it and it kept falling off. I had to secure it with tie wire and duct tape. Terrible product. I would give it minus stars if I could. I also purchased 400lbs of protein and it only fit 300lbs. So many bad things in a day when you’re trying to get some work done. Moultrie used to stand for quality, now I am unsure if the name even belongs on the same sentence... so disappointed..

Works as advertised. Only drawback is attaching the feeder tube to the barrel. Have to crawl into the barrel to bolt it on.

Product came quickly, however dented and scratched but usable. Set of instructions in Spanish only, but easy to figure out.
