Rad Soundtrack by Various Artists
D**O
This cd is RAD!
There was never an official cd soundtrack of the movie rad. Only on vinyl record and cassette tape. This cd isn't officially the soundtrack. It has a good cover and inside the booklet thing it just says various artists and a list of the songs is on the back. The sound quality is pretty good for a copy and just remember that these songs were made in the 1980's. I'm just happy that I could get a copy of these RAD songs on one cd. This is great value at a great price!I watched this movie so many times I lost count! The main character Bill Allen just wrote a book titled My RAD career which just came out May 2014. He talks about his RAD adventures and famous people whom he is good buddies with like George Clooney, Lou Diamond Phillips, and the late Brandon Lee. He also talks about some behind the scenes on the RAD set and the cast. For this great price I'm happy with this cd and to me it sounds great. It is very hard to get RAD memorabilia now days so keep that in mind. I never heard the track Riverside in the movie. Does anyone know when that song is played in the movie? Great cd if you are a RAD fan and enjoy the music!UPDATE: 4/8/2019I read some reviews about the song Get Strange is missing and these purchases were made around 2016. I purchased my cd in 2014 and my soundtrack lineup is different from the current one. The seller must of took out Get Strange possibly for copyright/licensing reasons. This is my song list when I bought this cd in 2014.OLD SONGLIST:1. BREAK THE ICE2. RIVERSIDE3. WIND ME UP4. GET STRANGE5. SEND ME AN ANGEL6. MUSIC THAT YOU CAN DANCE TO7. BABY COME BACK8. THUNDER IN YOUR HEART 3:38 version (bike race)9. WITH YOU (LOVE THEM FROM RAD)10. THUNDER IN YOUR HEART 4:37 version (credits)So the cd now is missing The song GET STRANGE and in place there is a instrumental version of THUNDER IN YOUR HEART.I think it's still a great cd. I read some reviews that bash the sound quality but I guess those people are used to hearing BOSE speaker crystal clear high definition. I played my cd in my car and it sounds pretty good. I have some 1990s original CDs of other artists that sound softer than this cd. The sound has good treble sound for clarity but I guess the bass isn't real strong like modern songs. But I have the old version of this cd so I don't know what the current version sounds like. For this price I think it's worth it because you don't have to hunt down all of the music and download them one by one. They are ready to go. Just have a nostalgic mind and remember the good old days riding your sweet bmx bike pretending to ride helltrack like Cru Jones. I collect GT Performers myself. So sit back and enjoy & let the sweet memories of these songs remind you of the good old days of 1980s.

LOVE this 1980s movie soundtrack!
I first heard John Farnham's 'Thunder In Your Heart' in an episode of American Dad! and when I found out the soundtrack it belonged to I was hooked to almost the whole thing! You don't even need to see the movie to love this music, and the CD was shrink-wrapped, brand new, and cheap and came fast!

Some songs remade
Some of the songs were remakes that didn’t sound quite like the originals but otherwise a good buy

Terrible Quality.
I do not feel the thunder nor am i ready to break the ice on this terrible rip. Sounds like it was recorded from the VHS and not the original masters.

AMAZING
"Break the ICe" is worth the cost of the album alone ......"Thunder in your Heart" and "Send me an angel" are my other 2 favorites. The rest of the album is good too. Brings up a lot of nostalgic memories of my and my gang on our bikes, raising hell!

Awesome Music
So happy that I was finally able to get my hands on this. Highly recommend it for anyone who likes 80's rock and hearing John Farnham songs that you cant get on any of his albums.

THIS IS TERRIBLE
This CD has some chopped and edited versions of some of the songs (a lack of care when putting this CD together is immediately obvious as the sound quality of tracks is wildly different). The John Farnham tracks are from watery mp3 files that have then been boosted to a volume that takes away any listening pleasure. The Farnham instrumental track at the end is from a crackly vinyl source! I bought this CD based on previous recommendations, and all I can say, is this is the worst CD I have ever had. VERY UNHAPPY !!!
