Calcium Nitrate/Prilled / 4 Ounces / 99% Pure Reagent Grade

Prills are little balls that take longer to break down. This is just calcium salt in its natural state, nothing special. Not usable for my purpose. Can’t be returned.

The product information sheet for this chemical said that it was a dry powder but when i received the chemical it was soggy and wet. I carefully measured out the proper weight to prepare samples of standard concentration to calibrate several test methods but the test methods did not detect any Nitrate present in the solutions! Something went wrong with this material before i received it.

This particular product has led to the suicides of 30 people, yet Amazon refuses to stop selling it.
