LOVELINESS IN RAIN COAT FORM :)
To start off this jacket is very nice. Well made and nice and long. As others reviewers have stated it does run small and because of that I ordered a size up.I am 5'4" and 165 lbs. Normally I wear mediums in t-shirts and larges in fitted shirts because I have broad shoulders. Since reviewers said it ran small I ordered an extra large (XL) since it is not stretchy material and is fitted. It fits me perfectly in the shoulders, however the sleeves are a little long and the waist a little big even with a hoodie underneath. I can comfortabley fit a hoodie underneath this jacket and the shoulders still fit fine. Although the sleeves are a little long, the velcro at the wrists can be cinched to your wrist size and the jacket will scrunch up a little bit in the sleeves, but not enough to look bad. (I suppose if you wanted you could get the sleeves tailored, but seriously it doesn't look bad).I love the length! It goes halfway down my thighs cause seriously who wants to keep their shirt dry and not their pants! The hood is nice and big and there are elastic thingies to make it tighter although I haven't figured out how it works yet. I haven't used it in the rain yet so I can't speak for its breathability, but I don't think it will leak lol :)It is very well made and it is not the loud crinkly material like other rain jackets. The white with the small print on it is very chic and I like that it is not true white; black just seems too dreary to me. And it is very nice that the pockets have zippers because it seems like I always lose stuff if it doesn't have a zipper...so that's a plus for me!It is fitted so its not a box cut so you won't look like a square! I personally like that it doesn't have a belt because those just get in the way or lost.Since I do have a small waist compared to my shoulder size it would be nice if it was a little bit more fitted for me at the waist, but according to two of my trusted sources it looks fitted and if its raining it won't matter too much cause you're just trying not to get wet, not walk down the runway.Overall, very nice jacket and I think I will be pleased with it! It will come in handy for my outside adventures!

Great summer/spring raincoat!
I wore this to a 4:05 PM baseball game today and was comfortable the entire time. It rained all afternoon, enough for a rain delay of over an hour, followed by a light drizzle through the first two innings. The temperature ranged from 68 to 77 degrees. I wore jeans and a short sleeved lightweight t-shirt with a thin sweater. I ditched the sweater as the temperature warmed. The jacket worked perfectly. It kept me dry and did not stick to my skin. It also kept me at a comfortable temperature and did not cause me to overheat. I ordered a medium size which was just right for me. I'm 5'2", 148 lbs, 38-32-40, the fit was like a tailored shirt over my clothes; just right but not tight. There was enough room to allow freedom of movement even with a thin or medium weight sweater. As I turned at the waist, the jacket turned across my hips without catching. I was also able to move my arms freely in all directions. I ordered it in Red Hibiscus. It is a beautiful reddish orange or coral color. The picture seems to be tinged with a little more pink than the actual jacket. The zipper was difficult to get started but zipped freely once it started moving. It was also easier to zip the second and third times. The two side pockets are each about 9.5"h x 6"w. There is an interior breast pocket that measures 7.5"h x 6"w. The fabric makes a soft crinkle sound but is not noisy like my daughter's name brand jacket made from HyVent material. The lining is made of a thin nylon throughout all but the upper back which is made of a mesh material. The hood can be adjusted by a Velcro tab in the back center and drawstrings around the front. Last of all, it was packable, with careful folding, into a 1 quart zippered storage bag like those purchased for airline travel (not the food storage bags since their opening is too small).

Not what I expected
All the reviews suggested getting a size up, and since I normally wear a size small, I went for a size medium. Maybe I'm the exception to the rule, but this was HUGE on me. I mean, enormous. Even with a hoodie sweatshirt underneath, it was just too big.It was a little longer that I expected as well, came halfway down my thigh, rather than the top of the thigh as it looked in the picture. I liked the sleeves and the hood, though I thought the texture of the coat was quite loud, where it was described in reviews as being softer and quieter than most. I did find the zipper to be really very annoying and almost impossible to work. Not sure if it was me, or if it was broken. But that coupled with the wrong size and I had to return it. I thought about getting a size small to replace the one I had returned, but it was looking for something shorter anyway, so I'm on the hunt again. If you like long coats, this one might be the one for you. I'm only downrating it because of the annoying sizing problems and the zipper. I mean, really, why would you even NEED a double zipper on this coat?

Coat good, zipper lame, me dry
I'm normally on the smaller side of medium, but I went ahead and got a large due to the other reviews. It is big on me but I'm glad I sized up, as it comes down to about my knees now -- not the most attractive fit, but it keeps most of my pants and my bum dry which is a plus! So far it has held up very well in light-medium rain, granted I was only out in it for about 15 minutes. I went ahead and lined one of the pockets with a sandwich bag and some hem tape (I know, so classy) to make sure my phone stayed dry and I'm glad I did, or else my phone might be a little damp. It's not 5 starts because the zipper is super hard to get up after it's been unzipped all the way, and it's pretty annoying, but it's still a great light-weight rain coat.
