Q: Are the blades recyclable in any way?

I dont know to be perfectly honest , I can say they are by far the best blades I have used and I have tried many.

Q: Are they compatible with the glass handled razor?

Yes!! They fit all the bulldog handles..

Q: How long do you use each blade for? I’m buying as a present for someone so have no idea

depends on the person, if they grow a lot of thick hair then maybe you will go throug a blade a month. Put it this way they stand up great compared to other razors so I would say a box of 4 should last a good 3 - 4 months.
