So I wanted to buy some BBQ sauce that had that hearty in your face, this is the place taste. This thing definitely did that for me, it's unique, taste sweet but not like I'm eating candy sweet, it's like we mean business sweet. Very tasty and thick, it goes great with my oatmeal and chicken in a bowl day to day style. Thanks y'all for selling it to me! <3

Down south here it seems no one has ever had the Chinese ribs sauce. I usually buy the AH-SO sause but decided to try this one because there was more in the jar. a bigger jar. I thought it had a better taste than the Ah-So brand a more traditional taste like when the first time I had Chinese barbecue ribs. My wife said she didn't like them as much but she has to stay away from sweets anyway so as soon as my case of Ah So is gone I will be buying this kind. Down here in E TN they don't sell anything like that and even the Chinese restaurants don't even use it. Most of them here are not very good at all only China buffet is somewhat close to food found up north but their spareribs are just plain. It is good we can get it on Amazon but the price is very high compared to how much it cost in supermarkets up north.

Item arrived quickly and was delicately wrapped. The expiration date was so far in advance that I don't have to use it right away or I can buy multiples and not worry aboutIt expiring. Will definitely buy from this seller again!!!

over powering heavily salted ... I have had this brand before and it was fine not wonderful but okay enough ... this must be a mistaken mix someone added way way to much salt .. I threw it away to much trouble to return an open jar ... I stick to my Chinese market

Okay, I have made char siu sauce from various recipes and ingredients in the past, but have had trouble sourcing some of the ingredients at times. It still worked, but was a lot of effort.This shortcut sauce works very well, and if you want, you can always add more spices to the base to enhance flavors and personalize it to your own specific likes. It’s not perfect but it takes almost no time or effort to make some nice char siu during the week.

I was really looking forward to getting this sauce. The results were nothing like I was expecting. I love the Char Siu from the local restaurant and was hoping for a reasonable facsimile. This didn't deliver.
