Hawk Performance HB608F.630 HPS Performance Street Brake Pads

I ordered the brake pads as mine were getting a bit worn. Not bad, but I am about to go on two cross country trips, one of which will be through the mountains and Jeep trails around Ouray, CO and I wanted to ensure I had good brakes. Shipping was fast with Amazon Prime. Install was straight forward. It took longer to get the tools out and organized than to change the actual brake pads. Altogether about 30 minutes per end (front and rear). I had a few other minor things to do while the wheels were off, but again an easy repair/replacement. The brakes were then burnished in according to recommended manufacturer specifications. The brakes set in well and worked fine from the beginning, but has I drove about 60 miles for the day, they really set in and began to work better. Definite improvement over stock. I would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their pads to give these a try. Like the other reviews. They are good out of the box, but given a bit of time they set in and are great performers. RA

I used these on my 2015 Wrangler JK Rubicon 4 door. I have 35' tires and often take long camping trips loaded pretty heavy with gear. I was actually anxious for my stock components to wear out, as I was less than impressed with the braking ability (not Jeep's fault...I did put some heavy-A tires on it). These, paired with Centric rotors, have dramatically increased braking ability. Where before I was concerned about my ability to emergency brake at highway speeds loaded (or even unloaded), not I have no concerns. Great product, thank you.

The best brake shoes I have ever had for an SUV. Better than MOPAR and OEM replacement. Great grip on trails, my breaks won’t overheat anymore. Combined with OE slotted rotors, this shows are the best and more affordable option than upgrading to bigger rotors for overlanding.

I purchased these to help bring stopping power back to my Jeep. The install was easy and the brakes have performed flawlessly. They have exceeded oem braking performance even though my Jeep has a 3.5" lift and is on 35s. I recommend these pads to all of my friends and will not hesitate to buy them again

I purchased these back in April 2016 and have put over 20,000 miles on my JKU with them doing the stopping power. I have a 2.5" AEV lift with 35" BFG KO2s and the stock pads and rotors were not cutting it, so I upgraded to these pads and the centric rotors and stopping power was greatly increased. The overall upgrade is HIGHLY recommended. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that now that they are about at the 50% point they are squeaking under light braking. I thought it was due to them simply need to be cleaned, but even after pulling them back out and regreasing the pads and calipers they still produce squeaking. It's not bad, but it is noticeable, so be warned that they do get noisier over time.

Installed these the following night after receiving them. Replaced them on my 2012 Jeep Wrangler (had Powerstop ceramic pads). Both front and rear sets were purchased when doing the install and darn glad I did. Took me a little while longer than I thought but the job was worth it!... these things, so far: 1. quiet 2. bites hard 3. haven't noticed any extra brake dust 4. no initial squeal breaking them in 5. great value Although it's only been less than 100 miles so far on them I have a good feeling these will last longer than my previous set. Love it!

These pads are good. I’m no connisour of brake pads, but these have definitely improved my stopping force (although I am coming from heavily worn pads). Despite the listing information here and on other sites, my pads did not come with the retaining clips. They came with the backing plates (pre-installed) and some silicone-based grease, but I had to re-use the old retaining clips.

I got these for my Lexus IS 250. It had stock brake pads and my wheels were always covered in brake dust. These brake pads are great. They work really well, and I no longer have to constantly clean my wheels to remove brake dust. I've had them for about 20K miles, and they're still going strong!
