I voice-act as a hobby, and I needed to upgrade to an XLR mic ASAP to up my quality. I was very surprised to find this bundle so affordable with mostly positive reviews. Took a shot and ordered it. The bundle arrived a day earlier than expected. A long and maybe over-explained review incoming:CONDITION: GREAT! Like another review said, the black foam mic cover was squished between items, but it STILL fits over the mic; it's just not going to look smooth (I have my old mic cover anyway, which is thicker than this one). Everything was packaged carefully, and all items listed were safely inside.The stand is nicely adjustable, as well as the small suspension mic holder... thing---what the mic is fitted into. The pop filter is great. Depending where you place the pop filter's grip, it's not going to extend very far from the mic.QUALITY / PERFORMANCE: I am a newbie when it comes to voice-acting and using microphones. If you're using a USB mic (or the accursed Blue Yeti), switch over to an XLR regardless of brand; if you're going into voice-acting, I've learned that any mention of using a Blue Yeti is like wearing a scarlet letter; same with any USB mic. Another fellow voice actor who recently made the switch from USB to XLR said it best... the quality is Night and Day. [USB mics are great starter mics, and you learn about audio editing a lot with them, but the XLR delivers better raw results.]PLEASE NOTE: a microphone CANNOT make up for a bad recording environment. If you're not working to soundproof your recording area (from a professional booth (expensive AF) to a small closet with blankets/clothes/sweaters (which I have) surrounding you), then no microphone on Earth can help you. Your recording environment is MORE IMPORTANT than simply getting a good microphone.The same goes for your DAW (digital audio workstation). I record directly into my little Chromebook and a free voice recorder I got from the Google Play store. THEN I transfer the .mp3 or .wav into Adobe Audition to clean up and finalize my audio (BUT a free program I used before was Ocenaudio, and many recommend Audacity; Reaper is around $60, tho I haven't tried it myself). I'm STILL learning how to probably clean up audio through Noise Removal and stuff.ALSO NOTE that microphones produce their own sound as well (I still don't fully understand "noise floor" is, but low is good, I think). My USB mic created a small whistle in the background of EVERY recording I made. Depending on the software you use (and which you're more comfortable), it could be a tough process to clean up your audio, especially if the raw audio is already bad (hence the move up from USB to XLR).SORRY for the overly informative review. I've used it for a few days to be sure. As long as I take care of it, it should definitely last a good while. Find me on YouTube as AnitaSleapVA -- my cyberpunk audio roleplay (posted 8/22/20) is the first I recorded with this XLR. All my previous videos were recorded with my USB mic, even after editing. The differences sounds clear.

The recording quality is excellent, but be warned, if you use this mic on a PC input that has the dual headphone/mic logo, the mic will sound TERRIBLE. It will sound like you’re under water and you’ll think it’s the fault of the mic.For the best results, use only on a dedicated INPUT jack (usually 1/8” stereo).After trying on a laptop with the dual headphone/mic input and being completely disappointed, I then tried an older basic Sony mic that I know sounds pretty good as a test. I became suspicious when it sounded just as bad.Then I tried on a desktop PC with the dedicated INPUT jack and it worked like a champ!

It’s a Very versatile lightweight microphone that’s easy to use and maneuver.For the price the sound quality is absolutely amazing, it surpassed my expectations and more,It came beautifully packaged and very easy to assemble, The instructions are user-friendly, easy to understand. It has gotten tons of use over the past couple of weeks, and holding up very well, The stand is durable and designed to last.Makes this a great investment as a starter microphone. Recommended!

A mic that costs this much should not have as much white noise as this does. I thought maybe the problem was the XLR to 3.5 mm cable, so I tried using a USB audio interface (Behringer U-Phoria UM-2) using an XLR cable with similar results. A Shure SM-57 plugged into the same interface with the same cable produces very little noise.Aside from that, the mic is okay. You could use it for voice chatting or streaming. But if you want to record something that sounds even a little professional, like a song or a podcast, forget it. You can filter out the noise, but this only helps so much and damages the sound.There is a brand of prestigious (and very expensive) cardioid microphones called Manley. This is not that brand. This is Manli, a brand better known for things like electric razors, vacuum cleaners, and scalp massagers. It seems to be a legitimate company, but I can't help but wonder if they got into microphones hoping to trick people into thinking they were buying Manley mics.All that said, it's a darn shame this mic is no good. The stand and the pop filter seem fine, and I may use them for another mic. There are good and legitimate-seeming reviews here, so maybe I just got a bad one. In that case, though, the company needs to improve their quality control.

I was using a Rode Mic (the cheaper one, around $60) and it had this awful humming sound. I tried everything to get rid of it and failed. So, after reading all the reviews on this mic, I decided to buy this one. LOVE IT. Way better quality. I film beauty YouTube videos and its important to have great sound. This works great. The only issue I have is one time I filmed a video, didn't realize the cord wasn't plugged ALL the way into my Camera and it had a small hissing sound. So, just be sure to check that cord (, because it looked like it was plugged in all the way but it wasn't) before you start recording and it will work great. Awesome Mic and for the price, can't beat it. 3 Thumbs Up

Purchased this for at home zoom meetings and when making videos. Sound quality is good, not the greatest but for the price point really good.The unit is well constructed, the base is really nice and heavy so tip overs will not happen. Another nice perk is that it is truly everything you need right out of the box for a audio broadcast. From the suspension mic holder to the cords to that allow both headphones and mic right into your phone or tablet including the wind screen and a wind screen mic cover.Very well packaged and dollar for dollar a lot of value to the user.

I am very impressed with this mic, I sing alot and needed something better than what I had, this by far is superior, perfect quality, took a minute to get used to it and adjusted it a few times to sit it down. I made sure I took a look at all the reviews before buying and every good review is legitimate. If your in the market for a decent mic make sure you don't pass this review. It can be plugged into an amp with an adapter from 3.5mm to 6.35mm or your PC the 6.5mm is not included, luckily my PC has seperate jacks as all the other reviews stated was an issue if you don't have a dedicated mic jack, yes it's a mic, its not a speaker 🔊 Comes with a set of 3.5 mm red n green splitter. Works flawlessly for GarageBand, smule, audicity, gaming as I stream on twitch, obs studio. Very happy with my decision to purchase will be the last mic I buy, I also have a shure condenser mic, this is just as good if not better with less of a cost. Very sturdy construction.

Mi micrófono no funciona, no lo reconoce ninguna pc, he intentado usarlo en windows y mac pero no reconoce el dispositivo, compre una consola de audio para ver si así lograba hacerlo funcionar pero sigue igual.
