Royal Canin has been the brand recommended by the NGO that we adopted are kittens from, & since it has worked very well we have stayed loyal to the brand. My older cat is now spayed (sterilised) & has gained a lot of weight in last few months. He has a very healthy appetite. However I've been doing a lot of research on how only dry food diet isn't healthy for cats, as their water intake in low & later in life it can lead to serious kidney problems. So I decided to incorporate wet food in his diet. I have tried both this one (which is specifically targeted for cats with weight problems & Royal Canin Food for Sterilised Cats 12x 85 g (which is targeted for to prevent kidney problems in sterilised cats). Both are good, but most of the time I end up buying this one as I found it to be easily available. When you buy this listing, you get 12 packs, with each pack (or pouch) containing 85 gms of food. I started with giving my cat half a pack of this every day. Later, seeing how happy he is to eat this I switched to one pack (we also share a little with my younger cat). The smell of this drives both my cats crazy. Every morning, they start crying for it. They know exactly where it is placed in the kitchen, so they look at that drawer & cry. Royal Canin Ultra Light has a good mix of solid, wet pellets & gravy or liquid. My cats finish it in absolutely no time & then lick their bowls completely clean. They like their dry food too but not as much as this! So it's a win-win. My cats both enjoy this & I'm happy with the increased liquid intake. It has definitely increased the amount I spend on cat food but totally worth it, & I would definitely recommend it too!

stomach condition will be OK, after change to ROYAL CANIN. so I trust ROYAL CANIN product. and My cat loves This.

I switched my ragdoll to this food 2 weeks before she had to have a tooth removed. She had no problems switching over quickly despite having a sensitive tummy, and liked the taste. Along with having her dry food in a treat ball and limiting her treats, it did wonders and she lost half a kilo before the op! :) Pricey maybe, but worth it to keep your cat at a healthy weight.
