Great knife. I love that you don't need a screwdriver to change the blade. It's got a hinge, so you don't end up fumbling the parts. The magnet holds the blade nicely in place. Highly recommended.

Very much like the design and feels solid like Stanley Classic 199 with the addition of a thumb screw instead of Phillips head. Advertised as Made in USA but package says made in China, fyi. Durability, tbd.

well thought out design. I've been in the trades for over 30 years and this is the best day for me. I do five trades and love having a knife at the ready and the easy change features with this knife or great I bought six to make sure I have them for a good while lol PS if there was american-made version they would have gotten my money as usual. I don't like supporting China

Great knife and great price

I’m a union carpenter so I use it daily, the twist knob comes in handy especially when you change your blade multiple times during the day. Also the hinge style is great so you aren’t losing your parts while changing blades. Great utility knife

So this basically the same knife as a Stanley classic 99, but upgraded. Same shape, size, about the same weight… except this Ivy Classic hinges at the bottom, has a built in magnet that holds the blade, And a screw designed to be turned by hand. I have been using the Stanleys for 10 years and am just surprised I haven’t found this sooner. It’s a better product all around, doesn’t need an additional tool(screwdriver) to use it, and is basically one piece rather than three. What’s not to love. I do a lot of flooring, using a razor knife 99% of the time, and this is my new “go to” razor knife.
