Christmas gift. Granddaughter loved it

In the rush of Christmas buying, I guess I didn't really read the description. I saw it and thought "Santa in a Tardis". I thought my college-aged daughter (who used to love Dr. Who) would appreciate this as a stocking stuffer to put in her apartment during the holidays.But...when I opened it,,, I saw that the phone booth wasn't as classic red as it looks in the photo. AND, it was much bigger than I had anticipated! I guess I thought it'd be about 6-7" tall and it's a good 10 inches plus it weighs about 3 lbs. When you put the batteries in and turn it on the light is very bright and the glitter moves on its own and you don't have to shake it up. PLUS...it has a TIMER! I have a lot of lighted Christmas things, and I insist they all have timers, because the last thing I want to do is run around my house twice a day turning everything on and then off again before bedtime.I found myself making excuses as to why my daughter wouldn't like it like...it's not as red as the Tardis...or.... she's always here for Christmas anyway and it's just more junk for her to pack around.....just so I could keep it for myself! It is TOO STINKIN' CUTE!!!In the end, I DID keep it......AND BOUGHT TWO MORE! One for her and one for my son and DIL who are expecting my first grandchild this spring. I decided that we should all have one to symbolize communication and closeness with each other at the holidays. Plus, once grandbaby is here, I figured the parents could talk to it, "What's that you say, Santa? Is little Johnny being a good boy this year? Welllll, he's TRYING to be. Can I call you back later and I'll let you know?"

The media could not be loaded. This lantern is so much more beautiful in person. I bought it for a girl gift to be exchange with girls between ages of 20 years old up to the age of 86. It is very hard to pick a present that would be enjoyed by such a wide range in ages, but this lantern fits the bill and I am sure will be treasured by any lucky girl that receives it. We had the authentic version of this from Dillards, but ours broke, so we use the image to search for a new one and this dude is really nice for the price but not as pretty as the original.

Have a collection of music boxes, this is so pretty with the sparkling floating around the figures. The music is very special for Christmas time. Good quality and would make a wonderful gift .
