Cheap & Functional, Great Buy!
Pretty decent Olympic plate stand. I didn't want to spent $80+ to hold some weights. I personally do not care for big name/name brand stands or plates for that matter. Your body can't tell the difference anyways! I read some reviews that knock on the instructions and packaging. First the instructions. Didn't need them! You can literally look at the box art and figure it out. For buyers who have been installing the arms upside-they cleary didn't take their time looking at it. When installed right, the arms make a slight slant up and away from the ground. It's using gravity to keep the weight plates on the arm so that upward bend helps to keep the weights from siding off. The packaging could use some tape. My box was a little beat up. One end of the box was ripped/pulled open and I can totally see how some buyers lost various pieces to this stand. Lucky for me, my screws and bolts were packaged on the opposite side from the open one. None of my three collar clamps fit the arms. My guess is that the arms are purposely smaller than a 2inch diameter to accommodate various olympic plate brands. The stands also has four rubber collars for the arms. They are there to stop your plates from slammimg against the frame of the stand. They are about 1.5 inches wide and takes some length off the already sort arms. They are removable so if you need more space, just remove them. This thing is sturdy as well. There is no wobble even with 90 lbs on just one side. Just an all around great buy.

Easy to assemble, looks and works great.
easy to assemble although there were no instructions. watch out: the weight arms need to be mounted so they slant UP, duh, and it's not a really obvious slant until you've tightened that last bolt..... and a wrench or, better yet, 17mm socket is needed. after assembly, it sits perfectly level, no wobbles, and is plenty sturdy to hold the weights. it turns out it's a perfect match for my universal gym in color and design. I bought the body solid rubber-coated 255 pound set (also on amazon) and the 45's and 10's; 35's and 25's fit on either side and are easy to grasp. I put the 5's and 2.5's stacked in the front between the legs. even though it doesn't have enough arms for all my weights, it is still a lot better looking and more compact than the "A" type racks, and is less expensive than most of them, too!

works well, stable, scratches easily.
I bought this set to hold my 300 lb Olympic weight plates (45's, 35's, 25's, 10's, 5's, 2.5's) and 7 ft. Olympic barbell. It seemed to be a good price/value, was rated at 500 lbs so I could get some more plates if needed in the future. It also held the bar whereas some of the other lower priced racks just hold the weights. It came in a large almost flat box banded together w/ the individual pieces in plastic bags. No cushioning, foam pieces or cardboard to separate the pieces. When I opened the box the main silver painted bar had scratches on it from moving around in the box either in the warehouse or during delivery w/o any packing material/cushioning other than plastic bags over the pieces they rubbed against each other and put some decent sized scartches on the main silver center bar. The black rack posts were fine until first use. Loading my iron weight plates onto them put some scratches/scores on the black bars, so the only part that is not scratched now is the base/legs. Not that huge a deal but thought I'd mention it. Either way it will scratch whether it comes scratched or not. Install took about 5-10 minutes as you just attach and screw on 6 bolts, 12 washers, and 6 nuts to the 2 base legs, 2 lower rack bars, and 2 upper rack bars. The rubber bumpers were probably the most difficult part of the assembly due to their tight fit. They included a hex/allen key, but should have also included a nut/bolt wrench to hold the nut on the other side as you turn the allen key. Make sure you have a socket set, combination or adjustable wrench for this as it will be supporting all 300-500 lbs of weight. Rack is very solid and stable, after loading all 300 lbs of weight on there it had no signs of moving or wilting from the weight. I'm 5'8 and 145 lbs so I decided to test the 500 lb rating. With the 300 lbs of weight plates loaded onto the rack I suspended myself fully by my arms/feet off the floor on the top rack bars. The rack was still very stable w/ approximately 445lbs on it. No signs of the center bar bending, pegs wilting, or lateral movement form the legs. The bottom of the base has rubber feet, but they are hard rubber, so if you have nice hardwood flooring you might want to put a mat, carpet, or piece of flat wood under the rack so it doesn't scratch or indent that part of your flooring. All in all it is a good rack for the price.

Nice for home gyms!
After searching awhile for different racks I decided to go with this one! It has a awesome design unlike most racks, doesn't take up much space, and also holds 1 olympic size bar! Very satisfied with this product and looks great in my weight room. I have 300lb of Xmark Rubberized Weights and 1 Curl bar on it and it holds great and is very sturdy! It says its capable of holding 500lb,, which there is no doubt in my mind that it would,, but room wise i'd say only about 350-450,, depending on how many smaller weights you have verse 45lb weights. Overall this was a great purchase and I'd recommend it!

Strong, compact, easy to use.
This thing is steady as a rock with my 300lb weight set on it. It doesn't rock or warp as weights are put on or taken off. Assembly was pretty easy, but pay attention to how you fasten on the legs and weight holders, because how to do these is not quite clear in the assembly instructions. Basically, for the legs, you want the curved part of the upright bar to go between the longest and widest part of the leg assembly. For the weight holders, they're slightly angled to keep the weights on better, but it would be possible to install them upside down. So just make sure they're angled up rather than down and everything will be fine. I guess it also doesn't hurt to mention that, as the description says, this is an Olympic plate and bar storage rack. Standard-sized weights and bars will not fit.

It's a good product for the price. A little shoddy on the craftsmanship and it showed up with some scratches etc but its holding weights and is bound to get scratched anyways so I was ok with it. It was the cheapest I could find and like I said, it may not be super polished and look super nice but it is practical, strong and cheap. I'm happy with the product.

Free shipping was quick, came within a week. Box wasn't damaged or anything and was pretty light. Overall assembly took around 10-20 mins... Very easy. I put on a 300 pound weight set and it fit perfectly, it is very solid. It wobbles when you shake it with 300 pounds on but it is a very small wobble. Fits Olympic bar perfectly.

Compact, does the job but it's missing a little space to stack more weight, you could only put 8 plates so pick it up wisely, 2 x 45, 2 x 35, 2 x 10 and 2 x 5. You also need a ceilling of at least 8 foot to take off the bar. But besides that it's really ok for the price.
