Why is the 7-cup container 4.69 inches deep while the 5-cup container is 9.13 inches deep? Wouldn't the 7-cup be the deeper one?

Can the 3,5,7 Cup vented lids fit on the larger 9 cup container?

I do not think so but I don’t have a 9 cup. Other 3,5 and seven have there own lids
