Bought PRIOR to the summer Bike frenzy for a good price - Turns out, it's perfect!
Back in May, I was looking for a BIKE for my son's graduation gift. I saw that there was a shortage it seemed, due to the pandemic, the whole nation was purchasing bikes. Since there was nothing else we could do in lockdown, this purchase seemed like a logical idea. I pre-ordered mine early, at the original lower price and they sent a notice sometime in August that it shipped. I was very excited. However, I had actually found another bike for him in store, but I kept this order just in case. Sure enough, the other brand we bought was a DUD. It never worked properly so I was super glad I kept this one as it turns out, it is great!!! I cannot believe the confort, the easy glide, the good use of brakes, gears, steering, it's all smooth & I just love it! We ended up returning the in store bike for a refund and kept this, it is really a great looking well made bike! Even for a higher price as time would tell, it should be worth the purchase.

A poor excuse for a safe bike, front brakes issues require an expensive visit to a bike repair store
Described wrongly as very good condition this bicycle has faulty and part missing front pull brakes parts and front wheel not running straight. An expensive visit to a bike store will now be required to fix these issues and if it was possible to rate this bike as zero stars I would not hesitate to do so.Not a good buy in any sense of the words! This is a piece of trash! The front wheel was warped and unusable and and irreparable and has just cost me $96 to replace! The front brakes cables are inoperative and do not function. The bicycle is unsafe and unusable! I am returning this useless item minus the front wheel for which I was forced to spend $96 extra as the original wheel was damaged and destroyed beyond repair. The front wheel shown here is the wheel I had to pay $96 for! Not only was wheel broken and could only be trashed saddle seat and seat post missing altogether!

For the price.....
**update**My son had ridden this bicycle daily for a month now! No problems whatsoever! Great bike, great price!Received the bike yesterday, boxed nicely, no damage. Went together easily. A few minor adjustments to brakes and derailleur were all that was needed. Son rode for about an hour yesterday. Shifting is as smooth as I would expect for a bike this price. No problems. Son thinks it's great and looks really cool. Remember this bike is priced well under $200. Some of these reviews are comparing to bikes that would be priced $350 and up. I will update after he rides more.

Nice bike but front wheel was bent
This bike is pretty and my son loves it. However it came without a manual so the assembly took some time. The package also didn’t packed well inside to protect the parts, the front wheel was bent, thus the front brakes can’t work functionally.I’ve contacted the Amazon customer service, since the bike is still usable somehow, I kept the bike and got some discounts. It should be a nice bike, I hope in the future this bike will came with a assembly manual and is well packed during the delivery.

Good deal.
Good bike for the money. Attaching Handle bar, front tire, seat, and pedals was all that was required to have a full ride. BUT also needed a bit of adjustment with derailleurs and brakes, which is to be expected on a bike shipped in a box. If you are not prepared to put the bike together as well as do some adjusting to tune it up, pay someone to do it.Nine out of ten negative reviews I see on this bike can be chalked up to damage from shipper or those who are not prepared to do some average mechanical work on a bike. Again, this bike comes shipped in a box and 90% put together. A bicycle shop will be able to sell you a fully assembled and tuned bike.Rides smooth, feels solid, gears and brakes engage well for a sub $200 bike. If you are expecting an $800 bike, you'll be disappointed. The front suspension to me is not stiff enough. I'm 5'8" and 165 lbs. Wish that could be adjusted. If so, I'd give it 5 stars.

Had them professionally assembled so they'd be nice and tight for our local intermediate trails
Bought two of these for our boys. Had them professionally assembled so they'd be nice and tight for our local intermediate trails. Good thing, too. My husband assembled his bike on his own and his handlebars tilted on the first big jump. Boys are 5'1" and 5'3" and around 120lbs. It is a little big for the smaller kiddo with the seat on the lowest setting, but he grows fast and it will fit great by the end of summer. That doesn't stop him from riding it EVERY day around the neighborhood hills and EVERY weekend on the local trails. They must be pretty sturdy, because my younger one keeps "experimenting" with the gear shifter.

BEWARE!!!!! WARPED TIRE
Bought this bike for my teenage son. We put it together, disposed of all of the packaging so we could do the reveal and surprise him. The first time riding on smooth, flat surface he said it felt like the tires were "sticking" and the brakes didn't feel right. He might have ridden the bike a total of 15 minutes before giving up because it felt odd. When we really inspected the bike, the brakes did seem to be contracting and releasing on their own but it is apparently because the tire/rim is visibly warped. Of course we didn't look for something like this with a new out of the box bike. Now we have to deal with taking this thing apart enough to fit in some sort of large box to return it. I would steer clear of this bike and spend a little more for something with better reviews!!!!

My daughter and I are very glad we purchased this bike
I read all the negative reviews, but decided to try my luck. My daughter and I are very glad we purchased this bike. Very study, well made and pretty. Assembling the bike was easy as almost all the parts are already in place. My daughter likes how easy the gear can be shifted. She is 13 years old but 6' 2" tall and the bike fits her very well. Both the seat and the handle bar can be adjusted for various heights. I have no regrets buying this bike despites all the negative reviews. The bike is very good. I think you will like it as well.
