KayteeMy First Home Deluxe Multi-Level Habitat with Casters for Pet Ferrets 24" x 24" x 41.5"

I will write a review that's as detailed as possible, for anyone who's on the fence about this cage :) Overall I think it's an awesome cage - worth the money, ESPECIALLY if you have multiple adult rats! FOREWARNING: It is NOT suitable for a ferret. The plastic will hold up well enough, but ferrets are too heavy and put too much strain on the parts, like the slide, which will break under their weight.See my pictures up top for a better look. In the pics, I also have the Lixit Critter Space Pod 2 Large (which they LOVE! All four pile in!), the Marshall Ferret Hide-N-Sleep Alligator, and Krazy Krunch Kookies Bird Treat - 40 ct on a chew block string (they LOOOOVE the kookies!) - *FAIRLY* EASY ASSEMBLY: Can get aggravating, but nothing too bad!- PRICE: Obviously. There are not many tiered/tall cages for such a reasonable price!- REPLACEABLE PARTS: This is one thing many people take for granted. Not many companies offer replaceable parts for their cages, and it is such an AWESOME convenience if something accidentally breaks! All you gotta do is go to Super Pets website and order them.- DEEP TRAY: No litter scattering!- INTERACTIVE AND FUN ENVIRONMENT: Definitely stimulates your pets and keeps them happy! My rats love the slide and tube, and have so much fun crawling all over the cage.- WHEELS: If you've had cages with no wheels on them before, you know the hassle! It's a pain in the rear, and having the caster set on this one is a blessing! Makes it very easy to vaccuum underneath.- SIZE: It's honestly like a mansion! My four rats fit very comfortably in this cage, and I could even add another one if I wanted to :) I'm 5'0 and this cage is up to my chest!- FAIRLY EASY CLEANING/EASY ACCESSIBILITY: Platforms don't have grooves, so pee and poop doesn't collect there. There's two doors in the front (one for bottom level, and one for middle level) and one on the top (for top level) so you can access everything. - BAR SPACING: I have four rats, 6-12 months, varying ages. None of them fit through the bars.. however, they COULD, if they tried hard enough. This cage (as is) will not be suitable for baby rats or escape artists - you can fix this, however, by going to a hardware store and buying chicken wire to secure onto the cage.- CHEAP PLASTIC: The plastic WILL hold up to standard wear and tear (although not by a ferret), though. On the other hand, MAKE SURE YOU TAKE CARE WHEN ASSEMBLING. Especially the slide! If you are not careful, you WILL break the tabs and will need to buy replacement parts! If you are careful though, they will connect just fine, although the plastic will strain. For things like the slide, you can NOT disassemble it after it's put together - it will break. This is really my only major con.- SO-SO HAMMOCK: The hammock is okay, not a huge hit with my rats in particular. VERY thin material, and they'd probably end up shredding it fairly quickly. Might be better if they had cotton or bedding to sleep on when in it.

We had been searching for a larger cage for our two ratties since December. We read so many reviews about different cages, they all started to meld together. Despite some of the negative reviews for this one, we decided to give it a try anyway. We couldn't be more pleased, however, there are some negative points to address first.1. It is not easy to assemble and you do need tools to put it together. The ad said no tools required, however you do need a Phillips to attach the wheels and you should keep a pair of needle nosed pliers on hand in order to adjust hooks as needed. Some needed to be opened up slightly and all needed to be closed tighter.2. Adjusting shelves was difficult but not impossible. A bit frustrating, but it wasn't horrible.3. The most frustrating part was putting the slide and tube together. Not easy, but we eventually figured it out.4. It's not a negative for us since our girls are larger and older, but the spacing between the bars is not suitable for smaller ratties. Babies would have no problem slipping out between the bars, but once they are mid-sized or larger, you should have no problem.5. It's a bit difficult to clean. You do have three doors that helps make it easier, but you need long arms to reach the backs of the shelves. So unless you completely take it apart, you might want to use some type of cleaning wand to reach.Now for the good part.1. Despite the difficulty in assembly, it still wasn't so difficult that it couldn't be done. Take your time, have two people working on it and you should have it fully assembled within a half hour.2. LARGE! Oh my. You could easily put in four ratties and still have plenty of room for them to run around a play. Our girls love it!3. We bought an extra hammock and toys for the cage. What I really like is that we can easily rearrange everything each time we clean, giving them a "new" play area.Yes, some of the negatives seem to outweigh the positives, but really, the difficulties were a one time thing and not all that problematic. And when you look at the fact that you are saving almost half on the cost...This is a wonderful cage to have.

It was very easy and fast to put together my rats just love it they have lots of room to roam and climb I was very happy in the size of the cage also very easy to clean and it was very affordable if anyone has rats chinchillas pets like that this is the perfect age to buy

We had purchased this home for our two male rats. The parcel came a day early which was great! Upon opening the box, we noticed the ramp clips and one of the wheels were broken. The plastic components of this cage are definitely 3/5 star (we had to cut some excess plastic along the shelves, tube, and slide to make everything click together properly), but the size of the cage is a 5/5 star. We were a little upset that a couple of the components came broken, but it was easy to modify and we made it work. I would recommend this cage for larger rats, but certainly not smaller ones. Both of ours are 4-5 months old and they can poke their head out of the cage (but not their body). They also don't weigh much, but the shelves slightly bend in the middle from the weight of them on top. I can totally understand how some people have had issues with this and their larger/heavier pets.Overall, 4/5 stars.The cage is definitely much larger than I expected, and I couldn't be happier about that!

Me gustó el color y los espacios. Lo que no me agradó mucho es que no puedo usar la resbaladilla porque no se queda ensamblada, puede ser que no viene correcta. Opté por quitarla para prevenir un accidente.
