**EDIT**shortly after posting my original review, i was privately contacted by the manufacturer of this product informing me that they were very unsatisfied with my initial review, finding it entirely uninformative and confusing to customers. judging from the sentence structure, vernacular, and grammar of the email, i have surmised that the company is based somewhere outside the contiguous 48. initially, i decided to ignore the reprimand and let my review stand, but my convictions have gotten the better of me, and i've decided that my poor attempt at mixing applicable information with juvenile western humor has alienated a large portion of potential buyers, and that it is my responsibility to right that wrong. so, using the style and language that the manufacturer prefers, allow me to submit a second review:quality vinyl hose reinforcement by exclusive spiral metal design is suitable for lavatory used. longest distance for purpose of transport water to far away is possible. excellent flexible which bends very nice. extremely precision threads of ends is consummate with popular brand name of faucet. include in shipping with products is a very good quality rubber o-rings of extra to prevent leaking of water ends. it is very premium good product that last lifetime perfect.**END**i purchased this replacement hose to add functionality to the shower head i have; the hose that came with my shower head was just too short for me to have full use of the shower head. the original hose was much more stiff and unyielding, and it was so short that the shower head would hang a foot or more above the floor. i prefer to have ZERO restriction while using my shower head; if i want to hold it while i sleep on the floor of my shower, i want to have that option.upon my initial attempt to connect the hose ends to their respective locations, i met with failure; i was afraid that i had gotten the wrong thread patterns on one or both ends. perseverance was my savior, however, and after several frustrating attempts that aborted in cross-threading, i finally got that sucker on straight. persistence and patience paid off for me.there are more gasket washers included with this hose than any two installations should need, which makes me all warm and fuzzy inside; i would have probably dissolved into a supernova of rage if after all my cussing and yelling, i would have finally gotten the hose connected, only to find it leaked like a lawn sprinkler and realizing i would be forced to make an unplanned trip to find parts.this hose is extremely well designed and built, extremely flexible, and EXTREMELY LONG; instead of fumbling through a succinct way to describe just how long it is in words, i ask you to refer to the pictures instead. it is basically twice as long as the original, as you can see in the second picture.some folks may decide its actually TOO long, and to them i say, close your lips, and let me sleep with my shower head in peace.

READ FOR INSTALL TIP! Great replacement but no install instructions! EXTRA RUBBER WASHERS (remember this)Upon initial install, which is simple, the hose leaked from under the connection to the shower head! I started the return process, was about to give a bad review and then scrolled down to see if anyone else had a similar issue. Turns out, after looking at another Amazon review, that the EXTRA RUBBER WASHERS are there to add into the base of your shower head and the hose connection!!! Even though it already comes with a rubber washer inside, add the 2nd one, tighten as much as possible and VOILA!!! no more leaks!

I didn't think I would be writing a review on something like this. Hoses and cables are just things that either works or not, in my view. I am impressed enough that I feel like writing a fair review on this to help fellow shoppers. This hose is made of real metal instead of the chrome coated plastic stuff you found on most other products. The finish is very nice and it is more flexible than the previous one I had. It flexes nicely and drapes down smoothly instead of the plastic ones that was rigid and easily twisted. This exceeded my expectation. "Like" this if you find it helpful to you. That will give me reasons to share my shopping experience in the future.

Needed to replace a hose on a Moen Magnetix handheld shower head. This one is far superior to the Moen hose, at a price less than half of the Moen replacement hose. In fact, this is the Lincoln Continental of shower hoses: Comes with Teflon tape, two extra washers, and excellent protectors for both ends of the hose so they don't get damaged in transit and so the washers do not fall out as you work on the installation. Installation takes under 15 minutes and requires no tools, just reasonably strong fingers (in fact, tools would only damage the finish). I have replaced lots of shower hoses, and this one blew me away with its awesome quality. NOTE: This hose comes with Teflon tape. If you have never before used Teflon tape for plumbing, take a moment to look up instructions on the web for proper application of Teflon tape (there are no instructions with the hose).

A really nice hose, especially for the price. Nothing like it at the big box stores that I could find. This is a very nice quality, stainless steel hose. I ordered this because the hose that came with my five year old shower head gave out and leaked. Honestly, I wish I would have bought this on Day One instead of waiting. So much nicer having the longer reach, doesn't kink or twist or bind. Thanks for also including the Teflon tape. Nice touch. I have a roll of my own - somewhere in my garage, but this saved me from searching for it.

Where should I begin... You would assume it is just a shower hose, so all you have to do is hand-tighten a few nuts and it's a done deal. Well, not with this one.First of all, the hex connector (the one that attaches to the shower arm side) was not threaded properly. Luckily most (if not all) of the brackets for hand-held shower heads are made of plastic, so I just used a brute force to thread it using this connector itself. For the record, I had two other similar hoses before this one (one was too short and another one was different color) and didn't have any issues with the threading.Then you may wonder why they include two extra rubber washers, it's more likely that the hose will start leaking before you will need to replace the washers. Well, the threading on the conical connector is so long - I had to use two in there in order for it not to leak. Using two washers does increases the chances of leaking by itself (there are three seams instead of two), but so far it seems to be leak-free. I may replace it with single thicker washer later, if I find one. Will see how it will hold up.

I bought this to install it on my handheld shower spray. Like others said, it leaked the first time I installed it. Then I had to use a second rubber washer and tighten that as much as I could with pliers. Only then it worked without leaking. After a month of use, the pipe started leaking from the collar where it attaches to the shower.

Light in weight, matches all chrome, very flexible, love the swivel. Very happy with this purchase. Would definitely buy again.

Extremely easy to install. Did not even need tools. This hose is so flexible my cat thought l brought a snake home and pounced in it. Love it !!!

Great product. Brass valve in it was wider than my home builder installed hose/head so this increased my water pressure. Great quality and no leaks.
