Great product!
My neighbors treated their lawn with harse chemicals that ran off first rain into my property and almost killed a 25yr old lilac tree my deceased mother-in-law planted. I used your product around the tree to filter out the chemicals and my tree is healthy as ever. I also used some in my vegetable, herb, and flower plants and they are doing swell. I will definitely recommend and purchase this product again for my gardening in and out doors :)

Good for plants
I bought this charcoal as I make my own succulent and Cactus soil and this is one of the ingredients. It is of a nice size but be warned that you will get the black powder all over your countertop and your hands whatever else you're working with so be careful when you touch other things.... I just found having a wet rag next to me helped.

Pretty messy but it's charcoal, good for my potting soil mix.
Sprig & Stone Horticultural Charcoal, had to use a hammer to pound down the bigger chunks. Defiantly an outdoor job, but my plants are very happy now. Keeps the soil sweet.

Great for springtail cultures
Works perfect. Smells pretty nice too. Would probably be best for two footlong bins, though i managed to split it into 3

My African Violets love this charcoal and so do I.
I first bought 1 bag and really liked it. I grow African violets. They do well in the self watering pots, which consist of 2 bowls. The inner bowl is unglazed porcelain, and fits inside the outer bowlwhich and absorbs water from the glazed outer bowl. Sometimes it takes awhile before the water in the outer bowl to be absorbed. This can result in a soggy later at the bottom of the unglazed bowl, and that leads to soggy roots and unhappy violets. (I,m coming to the end of my story)This charcoal solves that problem because it keeps that soggy area pure, and because it provides a protective layer between the occasional excess water and the roots. I believe it works in a similar way in terrariums too. An addtinal feature is the size of the pieces form a good layer, and there is very little messy black powder.

Exactly as expected
Used this for a terrarium project, worked out great. Plenty of this for my needs, which was approximately 20 small terrariums.

No identifying sticker
Small complaint, but there was no sticker with the name of the product on it. Just a plastic bag.
