The Best
I've tried other brands of air dry clay, and this is the best by far. It's not sticky/gummy and doesn't bleed color. It's easy to work with and correct mistakes along the way before drying sets in.

bright colors, air hardening, easy for kids to handle and work with
I haven't had a chance to use it yet, as I am packing up to make a move to another town 4 hours away. But I did watch a how-to video on You Tube, on making Halloween lollipops. That video mentioned that the color black is too difficult to create in foam clay by mixing it with acrylic paint, as it requires so much black paint that the texture of the clay changes completely and it makes it impossible to work with. So: that tells me that foam clay is the right type of clay to use with 1rst and 2nd graders to make candy canes and lollipops to get bright colors that don't fade as they air dry. I have also used foam clay over a paper mache pie structure to create French Silk Pie, a chocolate, and I recommend using foam clay with kids, as its easy to handle, and dries with bright colors. Another way to make clay candy canes: I am also going to use Sculpey white, green, red, and translucent clay with third graders as you can mix the translucent with colors to get a look that looks like real candy. But Sculpey has to be baked in the polymer clay oven and that is time consuming. And finally, you can paint hardened sculpey items with liquid sculpey or another gloss coat to give the candy canes a shine. That sculpey method I saw also on You Tube.

Never dried out!
I have been ordering this brand since last year and it always comes fresh and not once has it been dried out. Last week I ordered a large white and for some reason ordered a different brand. The whole tub was no good since it was all dried up. Needless to say I returned it and ordered bohs and it was in perfect condition. You won't be disappointed and it's easy to work with. I mix the colors and it comes out beautiful. Will never order any other brand again. I learned my lesson well.

Easy to work with
The good: easy to work with, colors don’t transfer to your hands or anything else, easy to mold, love the quality and you don’t need water to make it stick. The bad: you have to work quickly because it starts to dry and the other is that it tends to shrink a bit after it starts to dry up, but nothing major.I would definitely recommend it!!!

LOVE THEM!!!
Got these to do color mixing experiments with my 3yo. Not sure how non toxic they really are so I wouldn’t use them with kids who haven’t learned to keep stuff out of their mouths. All that said, they are a BLAST. I have never used anything like this before. They mix easily and the texture is… almost slimy. They can be shaped easier as they start to dry a little. Once dry they are pretty much the same texture and density of craft foam (thought not quiet as tough.Best of all my 3 yo loves it too. After our very first mixing experiment she spent that entire dinner time telling my husband about primary and secondary colors and how mixing what with what gives you what. We’ve done other color mixing experiments (watercolor, clay, translucent color tiles over light and even kinetic sand ) and none clicked like this did. That by itself was great and worth the purchase.
