Fujifilm FUJINON XF16mmF2.8 R WR Lens (Black)

Online reviews are misdirecting. It is very sharp lens and silent one on that. It has no issues focussing on eyes even with mere monitor lights.I got it because it looks very nice unlike latest fuji lenses that costs a lot and looks ugly.It doubles down as webcam lens and this will be used far more. I had used samyang 12mm for that but that was too wide and af is not there. Plus sharpness was not there because many a time you would loose picture if you enable blur background or put a picture background. Though 12mm was better than 25mm lens that was sharper but Bokeh would prevent image identification and thus background blur was not possible.I was wondering whether Bokeh would prevent this lens as well but it is just right focal length for webcam. And was surprised how sharp it is even at 2.8 though Bokeh is a struggle with this small aperture lens.And it is small in size, silent and looks really good.

Good job to however managed to get fingers prints on the front and back element, you are quite special.This is a warehouse deal so keep that in mind, not sure if it was amazon or the customer who returned this but either way there was one not so bright person in the equation. The lens performs as expected after a thorough cleaning but let this be a PSA to keep your lenses CLEAN people... They kinda work better when they are clean.

It is not as sharp and does not resolve colour and detail as well as the 16mm 1.4. Having said that, it is so much easier to carry and I find I am more inclined to use it and be creative. It is equal to the other F2 prime lens.

Image quality you expect from Fuji. Sharp at all apertures. Fast focusing and silent. Good for Vlogging. Just note, it's more of 15mm. Wider than the XF 16mm f1.4 by just a bit.

Uma lente maravilhosa pra registrar reuniões em salas menores, ótima para varias situações e trás uma qualidade incrível em ambientes de baixa luminosidade como boates e festas, com um LED pequeno já possibilita resultados incríveis. Vale a pena demais ter no kit essa lente.
