Magma Products Catalina 2 Infra Red, Gourmet Series Gas Grill, Multi, One Size

Mine arrived with a corner crushed from being dropped in transit and it was easier to disassemble and fix than return but when I did it works well with the medium output 20# tank extra valve ordered. the 1# valve for small bottles did not work so another will be here today for that. I may also try the low flow big tank valve I just ordered as my cooking philosophy on the porch (not on our one time sailboat but use as portable) is to cook things lower temps and slower to seal in moisture and flavor. This one does a better propane job than most on low with lid closed but works quite well with lid open on most valve volume settings. The company says on other than low grill with lid open as it will get too hot. As small portable propane grills go this one works and I intend to refine it further with trying the lower flow for lower heat valve when it gets here by Monday as well. Well made unit which would have been better if Amazon shipping had not dropped the box from ten feet up or wherever they did. Easy to clean? did not grill a steak yet on it and will tonight but when I did a test hot dog the idea of grease drippings evaporating into a puff of smoke on the radiant grids under the grill grids, 3 each, is absolutely accurate. It did that. Nothing in the grease tray. It heats up almost instantly as well with the radiant cover on the burner. Does exactly what they say if you read with a bent towards standing the winds mounting on a boat rail must have. Different at home in that you don't have those big winds so I suspect the low flow valve will work better for me. All in all, the best portable propane grill I have ever had cooking for one....not cheap but worth it

This thing is awesome. We have loved this for the boat and attached it to a pedistle that screws to the swim deck and the folding legs will let us take it anywhere. I completely recommend this.

This is my second Magma Grill are they are well-made and beautiful, this one is very nice however the thermometer on the front of it is worthless!it doesn’t click on Till Grill is already quite hot to touch in the grill is quite heavy maybe 40 lbs, if you will be carrying in & out as I do… but worth it.I just need to install a different thermometer…Disappointed with the infrared layer… it’s still flare up, but 50% lessIf I would do it again, would bought another cheaper brand.PS: the upper rack is nice, but sometimes food from down from it as boat moves on the water…wave..Hope this help someone 👍

Great product. Gets hot quickly. Holds heat in when top is lifted to flip food. Easy to clean
