Worked perfect with the tomshine led light string that i purchased. Appears to be very good quality with a oring rubber waterpoorf seal.

incorrect fit
Didn't fit - the male connector was too large to fit the female connector on my string light set. The female connector did fit the male connector on the string light set but the rubber ring seal was 3mm further away from where it needs to be to create a waterproof seal.

Correct attachment, but thread was not correct to seal and waterproof correctly
I've managed to work around this with a lot of electrical tape to seal the joint up, but marking down because whilst the attachment fit, the thread wasn't compatible. Perhaps this was more of an issue with my existing light, but the guidance is really not enough to help before purchasing in my opinion.
