Great Male Brazlian! (Against Manufacturer's Warning)
First, I am using this to do a self full Brazilian. Local laser hair removal clinics wanted $250 a session for men, compared to $85 a session for women. They all said about 10 session are needed, so I was looking to spend at least $2,500 on hair removal down "there." I figured a $400 investment for a self-Brazilian was worth the risk. Second, the manufacture and FDA clearly warn that this is NOT for Brazilians and should not be used on genitals or anuses. So if you do use it there, do so at your own risk and against their warnings/recommendations. Also, at least test the skin color in those areas using the tool's skin test window as most people are darker down there, and it could result in serious skin burns on dark skin. I'm milk-white, so I wasn't worried. Third, it only works on dark hair. I have dark brown hair, white skin, so this worked perfectly for me. However, I do have some grey hair down there, so this won't work on those. If you have blond hair, this won't work! Fourth, It is a sensitive area and dense hair so I am only able to use it on number 4 setting. It feels like a rubber band snapping against my skin. This is not pain free, but neither is going to hair removal clinic. (I went to one session there, and this device feels the same.) Fifth, you have to do this right after you shave. The heat of the laser goes down the hair to the follicle. If you have long hair, this just doesn't work. Also, if you wax first, then you are shooting blanks (and there is a limited number of laser zaps in this thing). If there is no hair for the heat to travel down to burn/kill the follicle, then you are wasting your time. Do not wax! Sixth, your hair is in different stages of growth all the time. You continually lose hair and grow hair. You don't lose all your hair at once and regrow new hair. With that said, this ONLY kills the hair follicle if it is in the GROWTH stage. So you have to do multiple treatments because you will only be killing a small percentage of your hair follicles on each treatment. Expect about 10 treatments to get everything. In 3 treatments with this (four including the 1st one I did at the hair clinic), I have 60% less hair growth. I love it. It is saving me a ton of money. Only con is it treats a very small surface area. I have to pay attention and move across all the skin area in a grid pattern, moving about 1/4" at a time between zaps. It takes about 20 minutes for me to do my the entire Brazilian area, front and back.

but doing that with anything dark (like an ink pen or eye liner) would create dark spots that wouldn't be good for lasering
I was worried about this purchase, due to the price tag. That's a lot to gamble on something that might not work. I've had my Tria for a couple months now and done 4-5 treatments (more on some areas than others). There is a significant difference in the amount of hair. I've done my arm pits, bikini line, legs, and a few stray hairs here and there. (Thanks, Aging.) The legs are the hardest part because the treatment area on the laser is small--about the size of the diameter of a tub of chapstick. Moiving over your legs, it's difficult to tell exactly where you've treated. You almost need to draw a grid pattern on your legs so you can keep track, but doing that with anything dark (like an ink pen or eye liner) would create dark spots that wouldn't be good for lasering. So my legs are now bald in patches, with other patches that still have hair. Over time, I'm sure I'll get it all. But even now, I can go for more than a week without shaving and still feel okay wearing shorts. The bikini line is uncomfortable, but tolerable. In order to be able to use the laser on a higher setting (which is more effective), I used Numb Master, a product I bought on Amazon. After 4 treatments, the hair is much more sparse. When I shave, I no longer get red bumps or irritation, which I assume is because there is less hair and it's thinner. Again, I'm not done and I do need more treatments, but I can go longer without feeling overly furry. Same with my armpits. Most of the treatments I've done have been on level 3. Sometimes I push it to 4, but that can be a bit painful, and I'm okay with it taking a bit longer and hurting a but less. I've never braved level 5, though on certain areas of my legs it would probably be fine, but on others--no way, since 3 can really get my attention sometimes. I've also done my upper lip, which had just a few dark hairs. I have done either 4 or 5 treatments, and I think the hairs are completely gone and that I'm done treating that area. The first zap I did on my lip I set the laser to 1, because I wanted to be extra cautious about burns. It was fine, so I changed to 2. By the 3rd treatment, I was up to 3 .I never went higher than that. One note about shaving. The directions say to shave before treating. You really, really need to do this. A day's or maybe 2 day's growth is probably okay. But I put the laser on a totally unshaved area with thick hair and got a minor burn. No damage, but it HURT, and stayed red and a bit tender for a couple hours. I'd missed a patch when shaving and figured it wouldn't matter. It did!! For me, the full battery charge isn't quite enough to do pits, bikini (extensively) and both legs. I do bikini and pits one day, and legs the next. Overall, I'm very pleased that I bit the bullet and made this purchase. Overall, the money saved on shaving and waxing will pay for this before long.

este producto funcione. que el puede sacar sus pelos permanente. pero es un projecto muy laboroso si se trata de todo la cuerpo!!! nessesitas anos!!! si se trata de la bikini line o baja des brazos es genial! pero cuidad - duele!

I bought it more than two years ago. It was a huge investment for me but it has not worked as advertised. I didn’t use it continuously in the beginning but now for almost six months I have tried it. But the results are nowhere near good. You see some effect but not as much as promised. The battery life is also very bad, in half hour the full charging is lost so you need to make breaks between long sessions which is very irritating. Also the head is very small so it takes a huge amount of time for larger areas. I am going to buy an IPL device and will see if the results improve or change.

for years I struggled with hairy arms, legs and I have tried everything possible. This is the best thing ever!!!! I have done 4 sessions and I can see results already. Hair on my arms are thinner, lighter and grow much much slower. the other day I could not remember when I shaved last time on my arms. My legs do not need shaving as they use to and I can see areas where hair does not grow. I will carry on using the machine but already happy with the results. People complained about activating the machine but who cares if the machine does work. the other complains were that the battery does not last very long. Who care if it works. I normally just do my arms, and then legs another evening, I think it lasts about 30 mins and recharging takes approx. 2 hours. I was bit hesitant spending so much money on this but would pay double now knowing how well it works. I started on number 3 and now can do number 4. I would recommend starting on lower setting. The best way to describe how it feels is warmth, it can pinch sometimes but nothing comparison to epilating!!. I am very happy with my purchase and definitely would recommend.

I have not used it long enough to say it removed hair permanently, but I can for sure say I used to have to shave every 3 days, and now after only a few weeks of use, I only have to shave once a week and there is less hair than when I shaved every 3 days. Even if that's the best result I'm going to get, I'm totally satisfied and have told all my friends about it. Way cheaper and more convenient than getting it done at the spa.

It does what it is intended to perfectly, I was happy with the results. Unfortunately, the battery has died very quickly and Tria European support simply ignored all my requests,
