Can it be used on high heat as most non-stick instructions always say to use only low to medium heat? But for Asian cooking, we need high heat.

i'm not sure what you mean by "large" but we use it for those things. it makes enough for two people to have two heaping servings (a piece). with some left overs for another serving later.
