Broken
Updating review. We've had this scooter since March and it's just now September and it's broken. We are going to contact the company. Hoping it's under warranty as this damage is just due to normal wear and tear.My 9 year old loves this thing. He's very aggressive and jumps it off things all the time and it's held up fine.

Shoddy manufacturing. Metal burrs and too-soft wheels that didn't last a month.
Our 7 year old sons loved these scooters from the moment they arrived. They were a huge upgrade from our foldable razors. And then the problems started. I've been in touch with the manufacturer, who insisted this was a fluke and that they'd replace the scooters, but they've gone radio silent for months now. I'm leaving this review to ensure others don't get stuck with the same shoddy product. Mainly, I'm disappointed that my boys were so let down by these new scooters.First, the nut on the neck kept on coming lose, making a rattling noise whenever they rode the scooter. I had to torque it down so hard with a wrench to keep it from loosening that the entire neck became hard to turn. Then the back wheel began scraping against a piece of metal on the frame. The axle wasn't manufactured carefully enough, so it would wobble around, and when it wobbled in a certain angle, it would press the wheel up against a portion of the metal frame that was jutting out too far into the wheel area. I took a metal file to the frame to shave off the extra metal, and this solved the problem for a while. The final straw was the wheels. They lasted a few weeks, and then I noticed that the scooters were rattling again, this time on the back tire. The tires are so soft that they shaved flat into a square shape due to the braking. Replacing the wheels cost ~$15 each, which adds a significant amount to the cost of this scooter.

Nice scooter!!
My grandson (8 yrs old) got this scooter for his birthday two months ago and has really enjoyed this ride. It seems tough, durable and really a quality made scooter. I would highly recommend.

the front wheel started sounding like the bearings were going out
My Son loves the scooter, says it's a very smooth ride compared to his old razor scooter. After riding it a lot for 2 weeks or so, the front wheel started sounding like the bearings were going out, as it turned out, the axle bolt had just come loose. Just tightening it would only last for a few hours, so I ended up using red loctite on the threads, seemed to solve the problem.

Nice Scooter but needs a little QC
The boy loves this thing and it seems very solid. My only complaint is I had to modify the front fork to not rub on the front wheel. The tolerances were just too close and a few minutes with a dremel fixed it.
