A Nice, Affordable Hard Drive
The Hitachi hard drive on my Inspiron 15R/N5110 committed suicide, so I ordered this new drive. I received a Toshiba hard drive, and it is working beautifully. I did not encounter a single problem after installation, and the OS installation went without a hitch. The installation was not difficult, though slightly time-consuming, thanks to Dell's ingenious decision to put the hard drive beneath the motherboard without any easy-access panel. If you have an Inspiron 15R/N5110, you will definitely need to remove the keyboard, LCD display, palmrest, and motherboard. This is in no way the fault of the product, though. It's also a great chance to swap the CMOS battery and rout dust and debris with a supercritical fluid, if you haven't opened the computer in several years.All in all, I am very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend this to anyone who wants more hard drive space or needs to replace a suicidal hard drive, as was the case for me.

I replaced the drive myself. It was perfect. I had some concern when I opened the package to see the drive had been opened and the beware seal had also been broken. (possibly a returned drive) then resold to me. Going with life is good, I installed the drive ran the updates with the Operating system. Like magic...very fast and loving my old computer again.Thank you for the good price and amazing drive.

I liked the fact it fit and I was able to partition it for my OS Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.

Wonderful hard drive
This hard drive is wonderful! It runs so quiet you don't even know it's working. It seems to be much better than the original hard drive that cam with my Dell Inspiron. I highly recommend.

Great workhorse, great price
I upgraded the stock 500GB drive in my 2010 Dell Inspiron 15R laptop with this one, and it's a great performer, at a very affordable price. It's a bit quieter than the original as well, I believe. Shipping was fast, and the drive was well packed. Overall, a great item and an excellent seller.
