There is a lot less waste when using the feeder. Now my friend who was so impressed with it is awaiting delivery of the same priduct

I sometimes have to leave my cat at home for a day or so, and bought this automatic feeder which I now use for all his meals.It's convenient but there are a few improvements that can be made and a minor snag.There really should be an audio warning when the hopper is low or empty. I sometimes forget to check there are biscuits left and only realise it's empty when my cat makes a fuss.As far as the design goes, for aesthetic reasons I would like to see the head of the cat in a brighter colour, or backlit when it's feeding time. Its dome is black and the eyes are hard to discern, so there's really no point in printing a picture of a cat's face on the dome as the background is too dark for it to be seen clearly.The snag with mine is the audio message seems to spontaneously clear itself. Instead of announcing feeding time with my recorded voice, there's nothing. I'm sure the cat doesn't care as he hears the biscuits falling into the bowl but I like to keep a close bond with my cat and that was a way to bond us.All in all, it's ok. Useful but limited.

Great feeder, sometimes 1 portion might be small but the one that follows has more in. Luckily each meal I give about 5 portions so it averages out and my cat isn’t on a strict feeding regime so it doesn’t really matter.Takes the stress out of feeding times as I work shifts. It’s ideal. Set to give 4 meals a day.The cat is now used to the timings and sits and waits for it or when he hears it whirring he races to it! Makes me chuckle.Self explanatory to use and holds a very good amount of food.

Love this easy to use automatic cat food dispenser. My cats love it and love that can control the portion size for each meal time as easily change the time of feeding times.Easy to use and my cats love it.

Exactly what I had in mind when I bought it. Works well, is easy to program and portion size is spot-on. 39 different portion sizes (5-gram increments starting at 5 g). The only thing I would change is the number of meals per day. Would be great to have at least 6.
