C.R. Gibson Baby's First Year Calendar, Stickers Provided, Measures 11 x 18" - All Boy

With this being baby #4 and a pile of incomplete baby books under my belt I took the advice of a friend to get a calendar with pre-made stickers. It was hard choosing off the internet since you couldn't view the pages or see the stickers, but looking at the measly selection in the stores (most sealed) I decided on this one and was thoroughly surprised and satisfied. The photo doesn't do it justice. The designs/prints and characters-snails, butterflies, birds, bees and frogs are simply adorable. The stickers are decorated with the cutest pictures and colors. The pages are made of a thick card stock-so not flimsy or easily torn. The cover is only slightly thicker. In case it matters to you it is not an elaborate "keepsake" cover and just printed (which I was fine with-it's still attractive).(Meadow lark version)I had wished they had a better description of the stickers so if interested here goes:Baby Arrives; 1-11month and 1st Birthday; Eats Cereal, veggies, fruit; Uses spoon; holds bottle; feeds self; FIRSTS: Easter, Valentines Day, Chanukah, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, smile, shoes, step, bath, tooth , trip, word; (3) Visits grandparents; (2) Visits Doctor; rolls over; sleeps through the night; crawls; sits alone; pulls up; stands alone; walks alone; FINDS: toes, hands; grasps objects; Says Ma-Ma, Says Da-Da; waves Bye-bye; laughs out loud; looks at books; imitates sounds.Journaling descriptions:There is a section about Mommy and Daddy: where they were born, grew up, talents and interests. About baby: Arrived at/on, hair, eyes, weight, inches, distinguishing characteristics that made you special. Some of our first feelings. There is a family tree page for siblings through to Great grandparents on both sides. Every month has a section to complete: height, weight, sleeping patterns, feeding schedule, sounds and motions, likes and dislikes, favorite toys and games, by end of month learning to...Every other month also has a spot for a small photo (but not too small).It was exactly what I was looking for and would highly recommend it to others.

Calendar comes with stickers for first milestones and holidays, space on each month for a picture and a space to write more details about that particular month. I already had a baby book so I didnt want to have to write everything twice, so I didnt prefer this. It is also nice to be able to quickly write stuff down such has height/weight, first tooth, first solid foods, etc... since I forget the dates these things happen so quickly. The description said it also has a spiral binding, which it does not, and that is the reason why I ultimately returned it. I have another calendar for my other child with a spiral binding and I just think it holds up a little better, especially with how much stuff I write and how often I work on it.

Beautiful first year calendar that is gender neutral. I really like this design, and I like that there is a matching baby book and brag book/ photo album in the same print and I didn't have to find those items in another gender neutral design. I prefer to predominantly use a simple calendar style for tracking milestones rather than large baby book. As a busy mom, I like to quickly add date and note about baby on a list app on my phone throughout the week, then I add those notes to the specified day on this calendar at a later time, usually once or twice a month. I use the matching baby book for elaborating on bigger events, like baby's baptism, first Christmas, etc. and adding photos. I do this as a gift for my children for in the future...I would have loved to have records from my own childhood and I think they'll enjoy this. Excellent quality- this calendar and its matching baby book and photo album. I plan to gift this first year calendar to friends who are expecting.

I really like this calendar. I've been using it 6 months and I am enjoying chronicling my son's milestones. It has the same questions to fill out every month as well as sections to fill in family trees, parent information, and fun facts. The images are very cute and simple, very gender neutral. My only complaint is with the stickers; I feel that there aren't enough for all the events. I wish they would add a second page of stickers for events that happen often like doctors appointments and grandma visits

This is absolutely one of my favorite baby items and will be cherished forever. We used this calendar to jot down daily events and milestones as my daughter grew through her first year. It was very handy because we had it hanging right in our kitchen. We loved the adorable stickers that could be used for the milestones and the space to write about my daughters likes, dislikes, eating and sleeping habits, favorite games and toys, and what she was learning to do by the end of each month. Only complaint is that there isn't an extra sticker for the month of her 1 year birthday. I understand that they would have had to include an extra set of all of the months, but if they didn't want to do that, they could have just left it blank so we could write it in. Very minor though. Overall this is superior quality and the little pastel colored woodland scenes are absolutely adorable! An absolute must for all new parents!

While I loved the design of this calendar, each page was almost the same. This is the 3rd calendar I've used as it is my 3rd child. The other two first year calendars had different fill-in questions on each page. I also did not like that there wasn't a space for a picture each month. I'm returning it.

The calendar has the years printed on the inside cover page,but itd for 2008-2011...I bought this in 2015. Also, like a previous posters stated, the stickers domt stick well.

Great value- cute layout

Got this for a baby gift for cousin! I'm sure she will love it. The stickers are very cute.
