Preferred for RV windows and doors
This is the best sealant to sue around RV doors and windows. Do not overlap, and do not screw though it. I follow up with a bead of a sealant like Proflex or 3M 4000 around the edge to protect the butyl tape. Works very well.

Butl putty tape worked well, applied esaily.y
I've used similar tapes like this bfore. This one worked well. It stayed where I put it on the door frame untill I mounted the door to the trailer. Then, when I tightened the screws, it mashed oout and sealed the crevices around the door, as it's supposed to do.

FOLLOW THIS VERY IMPORTANT TIP BEFORE USING THIS OR IT WILL NOT END WELL FOR YOU!!!
This is great stuff for sealing anything, but YOU MUST FREEZE IT FIRST!!! Let it get hard before you try and use it. When you take it out of the freezer, it will still be very pliable to work with. Simply roll out a little at a time and put in place where you want it. Don't try and roll out the whole thing at once. If it gets warm and "sticky," PUT IT BACK IN THE FREEZER. As it warms up, it gets real sticky, and EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to work with, so work with it as quick as you can WHILE IT'S STILL VERY COLD. Don't worry about it being TOO COLD to work with. It is very easy to work with while it's very cold and it actually molds better right out of the freezer. It will have just enough tackiness to stick where you place it. Once in place, this stuff is awesome!!!

Great Stuff
Stuff works great! Had a leaky back window in my travel trailer, but now it leaks no more. One tip on using this, make sure the putty tape is chilled a bit. If it's to warm you can't work with it so a few minutes in the fridge goes a long way.

Works but hard to work with
It worked once you get it off the roll, but the putty sticks to the paper backing and makes a mess of the tape-like shape. I ended up wasting quite a bit. You can reshape it, but it's a pain and if you don't use it right away it's hard to store once it comes off the roll. I live in a warm climate so next time I will try to chill it in the frig to see if that makes it easier to peel off the roll.

As soon as I got my sealant tape I placed it into a refrigerator to keep it fresh.
It showed up and it was packed very good. I used it and it worked very well as it was fresh. I kept it fresh by keeping it in a refrigerator. Now the left over tape is left in the refrigerator.
