The Cookie Collection: Artisan Baking for the Cookie Enthusiast (The Bake Feed)

I bought this cookbook as a Christmas gift for my cookie-baking-enthusiast sister. I knew it wasn't much of a gamble because I already have 3 of the regular cookbooks and a subscription to the Bake From Scratch magazine (definitely worth checking out, too). Of course I (gently, so as not to crease the binding) looked through the book before wrapping it and it seems to have mostly new recipes. The photo & page quality are amazing - what you'd expect if you're familiar with the other books & magazine issues in the Bake From Scratch series. All of the directions in the recipes are easy to understand. Although baking completely from scratch can seem intimidating to some, this book definitely makes it less scary and definitely more "accessible". Everything is broken down into easy steps, and each step is explained in detail. Obviously I haven't tried any of the recipes, but if they're anything like all of the other Bake From Scratch recipes I've made, you won't be disappointed.If you're on the fence about buying this book, just do it. You won't regret it. The quality of the book and how conversationally the steps are explained will have you eagerly awaiting the next Bake From Scratch series addition.

I love this book!! Every cookie featured includes a picture and I love that the ingredients are in both weights and measures. (See 1st pic). I use a food scale and feel this is great for both ease and precision! I’ll be buying a 2nd copy for my Mom! It makes for a great gift!!

With the holiday season upon us most folks are thinking about cookies. even if you are new to baking cookies you will find this book full of good recipes . Each is clearly written and the photos are excellent and give you a peek at what the finishd product will look like. One will not go wrong with any of Mr. Hart Hoffman's books !! I didn't realize that this was from the Bake from Scratch editions....so most of the recipes in here are already in the Bake from Scratch books.

This book is wonderful. We all love cookies and this is one of the best cookie cookbooks. Professional cookie reviewers/bakers tried several cookbook making/testing many of the cookies from several top cookie cookbooks. This was the winner. Wonderfully delicious . . .try it today.

I purchased this Book and Love it. The recipes are well written and easy to use and read. I have told a few friends about it and they said they will be ordering it also.

I love this book! It has great and delicious recipes that I would definitely recommend. Easy to follow and has a picture in with every recipe.

Fantastic book! I have been enjoying it immensely, trying one recipe every weekend. It’s a good hobby while we are still under quite a few Covid restrictions.Each recipe I’ve tried has been good or fantastic. Top so far have been these pan-banging chocolate chip espresso cookies as well as the lemon cookies.Definitely worth the buy. It’s a beautiful book, huge pictures for each recipe, well laid out, gives measurements in grams and cups, and has great categories.

My daughter's and I were so inspired by this book, so many great recipes! We tried the S'more's Chocolate Chunk Cookies first, they were so good and turned out perfectly.
