Q: Can you set the slow fade to only use your chosen colors? I tried a similar product and the fade only worked with a red-green-blue loop.

not really used all the fuctions on it... but the bulb itself is brilliant... would reccomend this one.. not a cheap style one the colours on it are nice as is the natural warm white colour

I do not know but I doubt it as I don't think ordinary light bulbs can be used on a dimmer switch, I may be wrong? By, the way, it has it's own dimmer control on the remote control.

This seems so common as to make it useless. You don't buy the bulb expecting every time to take it out, switch it on and off, fiddle with battery. Discarded mine.

NO, it comes on in the setting it was turned of with, if it is on white, turn it of then on it comes on white. Turn it of with the remote, and the power switch has no apparent control, but if is of when power switch is on it can be turned on with the remote, It remembers the last setting when turned off at the power switch. So lost remotes means it only turns on if it was on when last turned of at power switch. Children can operate it from the power switch as it remembers last setting, useful if you want a subdued coloured light in a child's bedroom. buy 2 get spare remote to lock away ;-).
