Pure rutin powder with no fillers or flow agents is very difficult to find, so I was glad to see this being offered by BulkSupplements on Amazon. The product arrived quickly, cleanly packaged and has a pleasant smell and appearance.I purchased this product after reading that it is a natural stabilizer of mast cells for the proper regulation of histamine in the body (along with luteolin from chamomile, and quercetin). I have been suffering from high histamine for many years, with seasonal allergies, food intolerances, and general overproduction of histamine in the body becoming an increasing problem of late. I am happy to say that after a short period of using this product, I am already experiencing a dramatic improvement in this condition. My anxiety is also less since using this, probably the result of histamine symptoms becoming manageable.This stuff really works. As a side note, I also noticed some gallbladder sensations upon first using this product. I've suffered from gallstones and a sluggish gallbladder for awhile. It turns out rutin (and other bioflavanoids) as well as curcumin/turmeric improve gallbladder function by thinning the bile and keeping things moving smoothly.

I have purchased Rutin powder to help benefit my healing of vascular system. Vein health is so very important. This system keeps everything moving along. It helps heal varicose veins, hemorrhoids, keeps gout at bay. I love bulk supplements. You can only down so many pills till you want to gag. I love placing powders in juice or just plain water and down the hatch. Easy Peasy. This rutin powder is fresh. It is clearly stated the serving size and directions which is not the case for another company I've bought from. There is an expiration date as well. I also love when it says Other Ingredients : None. This mixes up nicely in some O J. Makes it kinda creamy and no grit. I am very happy with this stuff. Now I know it may take some time to see the results. Fingers crossed.Sunday May 15th : I'm taking with powdered whole food vita C. OMG I am already feeling results. My hind end was in bad shape with the dreaded "roids". I never thought I was gonna feel normal again. Coffee, Rum & Hot Peppers are my joy and also my curse. I had rum and coke three nights in a row. That would normally send me to bed from a pain in the a**. I am fine! Oh and I had jalapeño peppers on a burrito too. I was afraid to try out a cup of coffee but tomorrow morning I am going for it. Yay!! I feel like I have my life back. My sister had two different hemorrhoid procedures done years apart. Neither worked. I can't wait to tell her this is working !!!

Sadly, kitty has since passed away, but while he was alive and ill with Chylothorax, this Rutin was an excellent source and value to be administered to my sweet kitty. I would recommend. It is easier to have the powder than to be trying to open capsules to put in syringes or food. Rutin can be a little messy, but not the packaging or products fault.

Wanted to update my review: Been giving this to my cat for a couple months now for cyclothorax and it seems to be helping. Here's how I give it: Take a quarter teaspoon of rutin powder, put in a tiny bowl (one of those stainless salad dressing bowls borrowed from a restaurant), take an empty syringe and suck up some of the gravy from a can of cat food, squirt it in the bowl, mix around with the rutin well, then syringe up the mixture and give it to my cat. This is working really well.Tried mixing it into his food, this might work with most cats, but my cat can smell anything foreign in his good. Very grateful that this product is available in pure powder form.Quality of the rutin powder is good. I give this to my cat and also take it myself. Using the powder enables us to bypass clunky tablets and capsules with fillers.Only grievance is with the bag, it's open during shipping & powder fills the slit in the bag's seal, so you have to clean it out with a toothpick to get it to seal. Once I ordered a product and the bag's seal was open & the powder escaped the bag and went into the outer shipping bag, which was a pain. Wish they improved these containers.Actual product is good though.

First of all shipping was fast. Package arrived with adequate packing. Of course the product is wrapped in some kind of plastic so it will not break during shipping. Rutin supplements are an excellent complement to ascorbic acid (vit C). I prefer a powder supplement that is pure unlike tablets that have chemicals and binders of questionable health affects.I have read that Rutin helps heal Hemorrhoids, aids in healing gums, heals bruising, helps strengthen blood vessels and capillaries. Again, I think, that Rutin supplements go hand in hand with Ascorbic Acid (vit C) supplements. I know that one can buy prepackaged combinations of Rutin and Vit c but I prefer to "tweak" in the needed amounts which will differ from the prepackaged versions.This Rutin mixes easily with water and I barely notice any difference in taste.Taking tooo much may have some side affects but I will leave that up to the end user to search this on the web as well as amounts to take and how much to take for certain problems. Lots of good info on the web on Rutin usage so please do your homework.And yes, when my supply is gone I will order more from Amazon as they have the best prices and speed of shipping.

I tried this Rutin as Mast Cell Stabilizer, just a scant and oh my Lord, I suffered with headache, congestion and behind the eye pressure. I researched and Headaches are a side effect for some.Mat Cell sufferers may want to beware but everyone is different
