I have used Bare Minerals since it hit the market and it is by far the best mineral makeup on the market.I have tried several other mineral makeups only to be disappointed. If I had tried them first I probably would not be using mineral makeup.It does take a little practice when you first start using the mineral makeup, but it is worth the time spent practicing in the beginning. It takes much less makeup and that was hard to get used to. I didnt "feel" it on my skin like I did with the liquid and that was hard to get used too also. (I didnt feel made up) I learned to trust what I saw instead of what I felt and got used to the fact that it takes a lot less time to apply it than liquid.With Bare Minerals it goes on silky smooth and covers beautifully, looks natural, and it does not rub off onto your clothing! It goes on so quick I can do my makeup in a fraction of the time it took when I used liquid makeup. Plus when you look in the mirror it just looks like I have good skin instead of seeing the makeup on my skin.The new sifter bottle case it great. The minerals are so fine it is hard to keep from spilling using the older bottles.

This is my favorite foundation, Bareminerals, I have been using Bare MINERALS for 8 Years now, I got the original first when I first got it (2008) & was skeptical, Well the entire lot I did.I can trully admit thatt this product stays for a long time ( Last time I bought foundation was back in 2013 ), Its worth the money honestly & My matte foundation has got low, But still enough to last a lil longer, & I should also say the entire make up as I should say, I Have The veil, Warmth, Blush etc...This is the only face makeup I will spend on..Like the Matte FoundationLOVE the orignal foundation,If you are new with mineral Or Bareminerals, You will not regret it..The make up doesnt look like your wearing any, It works really amazing!!!. Doesn't make my face oily either!!! I have had skin also, Can't use any other makeup....

For most of my live I've had to go without make-up because I couldn't stand the thick, cakey feel of liquid foundation on my skin. I tried using just powder, but then it just looked chalky instead of cakey. I decided to try bare minerals when my Aunt, who has rosacea as I do, told me she loved it. I got very close to her face and was amazed that I couldn't see any redness, nor any make-up!When my skin is clear I can use the bare minerals alone and get a nice even complexion. When I'm having a flare-up I just grab the concealer brush and dab on some bisque and/or apply the powder directly to the blemish (instead of the tap/swirl/buff steps) and it works very well!

I am writing this for my daughter as we first bought these products in a sample pack at Sephora over a year ago. My daughter has suffered with acne and has some minor scarring, although the acne has since subsided. We (she and I)were looking for something that would cover her complexion, but not be heavy. I used to think the woman on television who says, "this product saved my life," was pretty corny, but this product is amazing. I can't tell you how well it is working for my daughter. It looks very natural, but does the job of cover-up. I am thinking about buying it for myself, as I have a mild form of rosacea.

I love using bareMinerals makeup! I am in my mid-thirties, but after one of my pregnancies, I went through a time where my face would break out very easily. I was using a namebrand cosmetic, but it only seem to be making my breakouts worse. I have seen a huge difference after using bareMinerals and washing my face with a gentle face wash. This powder doesn't give me as much coverage as a regular store brand foundation would, but it does give me gentle coverage and it brightens up my face and gives it a healthy glow. It also feels very natural on my face and not at all "cakey".

I love Bare Minerals makeup. It goes on so smooth you can hardly tell your wearing makeup. Its light and great in the warmer weather. My old makeup form years ago would make me sweat and my makeup run. This is really good makeup and does not do that. The only thing I dont like is the lock lid. It makes the last bit of makeup not come out of the container. I like the older lids Bare Minerals used to have.

bareMinerals is a great brand and their foundation works well to flawlessly cover acne, scars, or dark circles. However, I use more than one shade of powder to match my natural skin tone. I use 'Fairly Medium' with a concealer brush for under my eyes and problem areas, and I use the slightly darker 'Medium' for my overall face. Buying more than one shade can get expensive ($27 each in stores) and I'm SO glad I found out I can get bareMinerals on Amazon. I saved about $10 on each container and they got to my house by the end of the week. I will definitely buy my bareMinerals through Amazon from now on!!side note: I've used bareMinerals for years now, so I know what shades match my skintone. If you've never used bareMinerals before, it may be wise to find an Ulta or a Sephora and have someone help you match your tone. You dont have to buy at the store, but at least you wont waste time/money by getting the wrong shade!!
