Must provide 5V USB power at the destination tv. It works great and is not affected by electrical noise interference like copper HDMI cables. I used this cable to stop flickering at the destination tv due to electrical interference near a breaker box and AC lines in parallel . I am looking to purchase more for similar situations involving AC interference and data line interference.

This is working great for me, even without the powered adapter. However, don’t make my mistake and run it through your cable way without insuring it’s installed according to the instructions!I had never heard of a directional HDMI cable, and didn’t pay attention. It failed to work, until I noticed its directionality. Had I bothered to read the sheet that came with it, I’d have known right away. So don’t make my mistake!

I'm frankly amazed that this works as well as it does. Which is PERFECTLY. I haven't had a single issue whatsoever. This is ten times longer than the recommended length for 4K60 HDR video, yet it works perfectly. I regularly use this to game on my living room TV with my PC in my office. It's long enough to run along the baseboards out my office, around the corner through the hallway, behind the couch, and from the couch to the TV stand under a rug. I've also tripped over the cable hard and stepped on the cable multiple times (before I had run the cable along the baseboards out of the way), and even though it's fiber optic, it did not seem to damage the cable in any way.I game in 4K60 HDR, which is a bandwidth of ~20Gbps and requires a "Premium" or "Ultra" rated HDMI cable. And this cable works perfectly. Highly recommended.Note: The HDMI connector on the TV side has a wire coming off the side for USB (to provide a small amount of power to step up the voltage), so it may block an adjacent HDMI port. My solution to this was to plug this cable into the last HDMI port on my TV. Some older TVs may only accept 4K from certain inputs, so it's potentially possible that you would need a short, cheap HDMI extender in order to not block an adjacent HDMI port, depending on your TV. You may potentially also need a short USB extender if an available USB port is far enough away from the HDMI inputs. You may not run into either issue, but if you do, it's an easy and cheap fix.

Perfect came very fast well packaged professional looking high grade quality always remember with this specific HDMI it only travels one way so you must plug it in properly to use it very nice quality the picture is perfectly clear

Purchased 2 of these for a set up of multiple TV/Monitors at our church, going thru a splitter to our downstairs rooms. The length and thickness are great for what I was looking for. However I found that I needed to purchase an addtional signal booster to get it to work with my Smart TV. The cable/signal worked fine with my older flat screen TVs...but not with the newer Smart TVs. Not even if it was hooked up direct from source to display. But a simple $30 powered signal booster at the TV Display end did the trick.Great value for the money, since 3 years ago when I set up the 2 TV/Monitors displays in our sanctuary the fiber optic cables I had to get were $250 a piece!

Bought a bunch of these over the last year or so. Trusted brand. Light weight. The ends are solid and don't fail like others I've had and the light weight cable is appreciated.

Worked for around four months, then stopped working, not worth the money. We were very careful handling this and lasting only four months is terrible. Do not recommend and will not ever purchase from this company again. Very disappointed in this product, we bought a more expensive cable with a life-time warranty. Do not waste your money.

These are the best I've used for long distance runs. The don't require power like other extenders.
