I have an old 32 bit XP OS that I intended to replace with a new PC & 64 bit OS. I did not get this done in time to prevent data overload and a crash of the original drive occurred. I needed to replace this drive to boot windows so I could download and reinstall on the new system. This was an affordable and easy solution to my problem. All went as planned.

When I got this item, I waited something like about two weeks before I decide to open it and installing it in my computer, when I did that, then went to turn it on...DEAD totally dead, I paid way over $100. dollars for this darn dead thing, that is not right. Amazon Y'all gonna have to do better than this, I've have order to many bad or broken items from Y'all....! Here something I forgot to say about my old one, when you turn it on, all it would do just Click, Click, Click, so dose this thing I order, the same thing, check it out with my Dock Drive, No Different, just click won't load up.

Received in a timely manner. Was in a jam because we needed to run some legacy DOS software.. This drive worked well with the old hardware.

I had an older Ricoh large format printer with an HDD that developed bad sectors. This prevented any printing or scanning since the system uses the HDD to hold the files prior to printing. This was a simple swap and reformatting by the printer and this resolved my issues! Glad to not have a large paperweight in my office!!

I ordered NEW 80GB drives, I received old (2008) 160GB drives. I can use them, but wanted the NEW ones as advertised.

I bought this as a backup drive (intend on not installing till original failed) and I went to install it did not work. I emailed vendor and thought possibly out of good faith they would send a replacement, but I never even got a response.

Worked very good to bring new life to my old gateway computer
