Knock Knock What I Love about Dad Fill in the Love Book Fill-in-the-Blank Gift Journal

I had fun filling this out as a Christmas gift for my dad. When he opened it he said it was his favorite. He couldn't wait to go through it and read it all. Being he's in his 70s and I in my late 40s these kinds of things are special and I always try to get something meaningful each year.

Cute idea. My daughter got this for my hubby for father's day. Its a cute idea and he enjoyed seeing her answers. There are 50 questions so I recommend this for older kids to fill out. If getting for younger kids to fill out, I recommend asking them the questions and writing the answers on a separate sheet of paper (I used post its) and letting them copy the answers down.

I bought a copy of this book for my dad back in 2016. It was the perfect gift because I knew my dad would love it more than words could describe and that he would cry nonstop or months after receiving it. I thought and thought about the perfect words to write and about how Dad would treasure each word. It's now 2025 and I have one major regret. I never got to give Dad the book. It sat on my shelf and I continually passed it promising to fill it out and present it to Dad, but never did. He died in 2020. I've looked at that little book everyday for 5 years wondering what I was going to do with it now. I didn't want to throw it away ( put it in the recycling bin actually). Finally last week I sent it to a friend's daughter and she was very excited about completing it with her son to give to her dad this Father's Day. The moral of this is story? Buy this book, by all means but make sure you fill it out and send it!!!!!!! Don't deprive your dad of the joy of receiving this love filled little treasure and don't deprive yourself of the joy of sending it!

Husband loved it! He thought it was a really sweet gift.

Thought it was bigger, about the size of my palm. But it's a cute little book you fill the answers in for. Dad will love your personalized answers. Looks exactly like photo. Plenty of space for writing your answers. Could have gotten it a bit cheaper elsewhere but won't complain too much about the price.

This was such a cute idea to do. It is really perfect for children to get to their dad’s. I didn’t realize it would be geared more toward older children. Some of the pages were hard to do with my younger kid, but we managed. I would recommend anyone getting this be 18 or older because it does have some memory pages.

I filled out this little booklet for my dad and he loved it. Everyone else did as well. People would always be picking it up to read through it and smile. Everyone loved it so much that they bought their own versions for different people; sisters, friends, moms, etc. After my dad passed away, people still pick it up to read it and it's a great memory. It's fun to fill out and fun to read. Highly recommended.

This is an adorable , pocket sized book for dad. The kids wrote hilarious answers and no doubt will be treasured for years to come.

Perfect item and gift!

This is a really sweet book. Very small, palm size, and a lot of questions, 50 to be exact. Definitely for an older teenager or adult child to give to their father. The questions do get kind of repetitive near the end, but if you take some time to think on childhood memories, attributes of your dad, etc. there should be no trouble filling in the blanks. I had a lot fun filling this in, and all the reflection that came with it. I haven't had a chance to send it to my dad yet (late Father's Day gift, whoops!), but I know he will love it and all the effort and time that went into it. Such a great idea! I will most likely buy another like this for other loved ones in my life. Definitely a keepsake.

This product is so sweet. I filled it in with my 7 year old for my husbands birthday and he was absolutely delighted. My husband has now requested we fill one in for each birthday so he can keep how the answer's change over time. I'm even tempted to get one for my own dad so he can keep a record of my thoughts, feeling and memories of him.

Too expensive and very small size book , waste of money.
