The Wrap itself is awesome. If you manage to get it installed correctly all tight with no wrinkles then the end result is amazing, it looks OEM and has a wonderful tactile feel, does not feel loose or cheap at all and by the feel of It I think it will last many years. However this project requires a great deal of patience and time to install while the wheel is still in the vehicle. If you watch most of the youtube tutorials they usually are installing it with the wheel removed from the vehicle and that would be the way to do it, but keep in mind if you have a drivers airbag there is a clockspring behind the wheel that can be problematic if messed with so I chose to install it without removing the wheel which is definitely the hard way. If I had it to do over I would probably remove the wheel from the vehicle to avoid many hours of frustration... But in the end I got it done and I love the wrap, made my 15 year old wheel look brand new in my FJ.

Extremely happy how this fit. Came with clear instructions and additional tools to help with keeping the sleeve in place & tucking into the steering wheel panels. Feel soft, comfortable & high quality. Tip: be patient, it’s takes some time to ensure it’s just right. Push&pull the front and back together as you stitch to ensure alignment & reduce stress on the thread as you work.

Steering wheel cover. Leather is AMAZING! Super soft and conforming to steering wheel. If I can say one thing, read the directions throughly. I “skimmed” over them thinking “I can do this” like most of us would. Nope! I had to take it all off and do it again. Worth every minute of time as it looks AMAZING!

Best Upgrade I’ve under $100 I’ve made to my FJ cruiser by far. Leather feels amazing in hand. I took my wheel off so I could sew on my couch and watch 2 movies and I took my time. Honestly the amount of people I’ve told about these I feel like I need to sell them 😂 Ps: If you’re nervous to take the wheel off, don’t be. It’s not as bad as it seems. That said, disconnect your battery and wait 30/45 minutes and the airbag removal is nothing serious.

Material is nice, thread is poor. Fit is not great at specific spots - needs more length at the bottom and the stretch if the material makes getting corners problematic to say the least.

I can not get over how perfectly this fits and looks, it's like it came from the factory. That said, it took me 3 hours to fully stitch it. Make sure you read the instructions, take your time, and be methodical. I also took the wheel off which made it easier. If you are even a basically competent human, you can do this, dont listen to the people that say its too hard.

I get that this is not for the timid. It is quite a project. What I am not happy about is that one side wasn't cut the same as the other. With the center spoke perfectly centered, the left side is loose at the bottom of the left spoke and the right side is loose at the top of the right spoke. I got about 25% done with the stitching at the bottom and realized something wasn't right. I ended up taking the wheel off, it was 1000% easier. I got it to work, but it is off and that bothers me.

Leather is good - not amazing - but good. Stitching is painful, and you'll need to learn your way. On my FJ Cruiser it took more than 5h to stitch and adjust to the surface. Results can be great, but there's also a good probability you'll mess it up you'd need a new piece. If successful, the feeling and the perceived quality of it is great, worth all the patience you'll put in. Will review it again after months of usage though.
