I purchased this product because I am always freezing ice blocks the night before I go to the beach. A lot of times on the beach when the ice blocks start starts to melt which takes hours I like to chip some of the ice off it to put it in my cup that I pour my beverages in. It works well it comes in an awesome case and I recommend it to anybody who's looking for a really decent ice pack in a pretty handsome wooden Case by the way.

Love this product. I buy bags of ice & I used to drop it on floor many times to break up the ice & it didn't work well. Bought this lovely icepick--works excellent & effortlessly for breaking up the ice, is sturdy, & compact in holder. Fantastic product & great price!!!

This is the best, highest quality, decorative ice pack I have ever seen. Looks gorgeous on my bar but could easily slip into a woman’s purse as a self-defense item. Heck it’s so solid you can beat somebody with it and not even have to stab them. But if you did stab them, you were definitely do some damage.

I love the masterful power of this ice pick. It truly gets the job done easily. I love that the pick is long and sturdy and enclosed in a case. My only complaint and the reason for 4 stars is that the case top has developed small, deep cracks in its surface. I don't know why, but I am afraid that the covering of the top will crack off and then the cover will become non-functional. Otherwise, it's a perfect choice for splitting ice that has clumped together due to melting and then refreezing.

Not only is it a magnificent tool for breaking up ice, but it's also really fun on those air filled plastics bags used for packing, or bubble wrap, or styrofoam! Yelling "DIE DIE DIE!!!" while wielding it is not only extremely satisfying, but also totally freaks out anyone in earshot, while making you feel like a super sexy blonde about to be interviewed by the police! You gotta get yourself one!

It's nearly impossible to talk about this product without it sounding like a dirty joke, so please get your mind out of the gutter and sit back for my genuine and true review. I've ordered other ice picks of Amazon before, but I found myself frustrated with the overall size of them. 6" wasn't enough for my needs, and the thinness of the other model I purchase often didn't give enough strength to break tougher pieces of ice. Enter this 9" wonder. Overall, I greatly prefer the color of this one. The metal trim in combination with the dark brown wood really has a classy aesthetic to it. I also prefer the screw method to the insertion method, in regards to sheathing the ice pick. In addition,the added length really makes it easy to break up larger pieces of ice by reducing the amount of stabbings you have to perform. With all that said, if you're looking for something heavy duty that can really penetrate and smash up your ice, go for this one.

I wasn't expecting it to be as nice as the pictures make it look, but it's actually a whole lot nicer in person. Remarkably beautiful build quality...feels like it would be found at some high-end fancy shmancy homegoods store for like $50. The wood and metal work are both beautifully done, and the cover screws on super smoothly. Importantly, this thing works. Went to town on a big block of frozen ice last night and can confirm it works great and is durable.

Product seemed ok for the price , but unfortunately no quantity control. Item came with a cracked handle and it basically fell apart as soon as I started to use it .
