I don't get all the negative reviews. I'm a cosmetologist who studies ingredients, and this is the real deal. Does it smell flowery like the floral waters which are a by-product of essential oil production? No, because this is a true distillate, so it's going to smell earthier, more astringent, and less sweet than some of the commercially produced sprays that people are accustomed to. If you want an aromatherapy experience, then put a couple drops of lavender essential oil in distilled water or fractionationated aloe. But the to appreciate this product for what it is, which is a very effective toner that plays nicely with other skincare products, can be used night or day, and can also be used as an ingredient in DIY products. Anyway, this is a FANTASTIC toner! Works great for the Korean "seven skin method" (Gothamista on YouTube has a great tutorial for this). The dispenser on the top is awesome too, prevents wasted product and keeps product fresh. If I could give 10 stars, I would! Can't wait to try the rose distillate.

This product Alteya Organics landed water from Belgium is very nicely scented with lavender. It's not super strong, which is what I wanted. So many uses but, mostly helps me sleep better. I spray it on my pillow before bed. Sometimes used to help freshen my dog when it stress sweats. I like that it's organic. The price is great and the bottle comes with a slow drip cap. I will probably transfer it to a mister bottle as needed. I also buy locally and scent is much stronger and costs more so I thought I'd try this brand and happy with purchase.

Love the bottle, love the sprayer, like the product inside. It's a slightly different aroma from my other high quality premium sourced organic lavenders of angustifolia variety, and I'm not thrilled-loving it like I do the other organic lavender essential oils I use and mix and dilute. But it's a good value overall and good product and I may buy it again.

Smells great but scent doesn't last very long at all

I have been using lavender hydrosols for a few years now and absolutely love it. The brand I usually buy was out last time so I thought I'd try this one and have not been disappointed! I use it for a facial toner and soak a cotton ball with it and use it over my whole face including eye lids and it moisturizes and invigorates my skin. I especially like being able to perk up in the middle of the day this way without actually washing my face. I use it everywhere my skin feels irritated including on a q tip inside my nose when winter air has me dry and sore and even "down there" when irritated skin has me feeling mean and edgy. The only comment I have is it don't care for the bottle itself. The plastic is hard and difficult to squeeze but I simply squeeze what hydrosol I want into a small dish or bathroom cup and go from there. Love this stuff! Will keep buying!

Heavenly scent! I have always been amazed with this wonderful product, I love to use it in my hair, on my skin, as a light perfume, in my massage practice to scent the sheets before a client comes in, on their eye pillow... Absolutely gorgeous and pure, this Bulgarian organic lavender water has many benefits. "From an Ayurvedic perspective, Lavender is a lovely cooling medhya herb particularly for pitta nervous problems, insomnia, anxiety, anger, irritability & low self-esteem, as well as migraines & headaches. It relieves pitta digestive problems including nausea & infections. Its stimulating properties are helpful for kapha type lethargy, as well as clearing excess kapha causing colds, coughs & catarrhal congestion. It can be used generally for asthma as it benefits all 3 doshas."

In general, Lavender is one of my favorite scents. I LOVE lavender essential oil but this product smells really bad. It definitely smells floral and (luckily) the smell doesn’t last long. I would not buy this product again, instead I’m going to try making a DIY lavender water spray with lavender essential oil, maybe a little witch hazel and distilled water.

The lavender water smells very strongly like a mix of the flower and the stalk which might be a result of the distillation process. So do not expect it to smell like artificial lavender fragrance but more like a walk in the lavender fields when the flowers are blossoming or being nearby when the lavender is being harvested or being processed (strong and a tad overwhelming). It is 100 % true lavender water, not a hybrid or something which would have been diluted with water or alcohol. Having bought various brands of lavender water for many years, I am really happy with this product and will buy it again thanks to the quality of it and the convenient larger 500mL bottle.

Trying this as I’ve heard it does wonders for the skin. I have also bought the Rose water from the same brand. This is a FULL glass bottle so you’re getting your moneys worth! Initially a bit weary of the smell but it’s subtle and delicate and this is coming from someone who has never been a fan of the smell of Lavender. This bottle will last a decent amount of time.

First time trying this lavender water. It helps clear out my acne and redness around my cheeks. I soak cottonballs in it and use it like a cold compress for my red cheeks. Helps to calm down my psoriasis as well. It smells like lavender. Very mild. Will go away after few minutes. Not drying not oily. Goes well under makeup. Overall... I will always include this in my skincare regimen.
