Easy to install and laptop is good as new!
We had a 7 year old laptop in our office that couldn’t hold a charge anymore. It was a Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga i7 cpu and worked fine. Ordered this battery and it came with a set of screwdrivers. But I used my Nocry electric driver set making it easier. Probably took me 20 minutes to install the battery, and the laptop holds a charge now and works great.

Seller is trustworthy and replaced 4 month old defective battery caused CPU throttling
I had purchased the "bad battery" which caused cpu throttling (my originally old OEM battery didn't have this issue). There is a Lenovo post about this with a T470 and new batteries, but I have a T470s and experienced the same issue. I also disabled every CPU throttling feature off including the BIOS based Intel SpeedStep which was OFF. When the laptop was discharging using this battery, the CPU would drop to 400MHz which made it unusable. I also installed the latest BIOS which was released in Dec 2021 and same issue. Bad battery was purchased in August 2021. Worked through Amazon to communicate with seller and they replaced it immediately. I was very impressed they didn't push back since they probably realized this. Also, the new battery shows the same model # but looks VERY different as highlighted in my pic. Make sure you get the NEW battery. Seller is trustworthy since they handled this very professionally. Would source another battery from them again. Thank you!

Fit my Lenovo thinkpad 480T like a glove. YouTube will guide you thru the install with ease. Thank you for including the tools needed. Battery life is improved significantly from just having the built in battery. Great replacement. Great quality great functionality.

Fit perfectly in my Thinkpad T470s, but doesn't seem to change battery life
This is one of 2 batteries from the same company that I used to replace my very old OEM batteries that were no longer holding a charge for more than about 2 hours. The new batteries initially seemed to have about the same performance, so I don't know if these were worth the price. After a few months of use, I think these have longer life than my old batteries, but it may not be a significant as expected. I'm generally ok with the performance if not very impressed.

Worth the $$$
Very easy to install. Even comes with the tools and extra screws. Recommend you replace both batteries. Restore that battery life that is long gone. Youtube also has a DIY video that shows how easy it is. If your computer will not operate on the cord alone you might have more problems than just batteries.

Dropped T470s to 8W TDP
I was hesitant to buy an aftermarket battery given my history with them. I saw the reviews for this one and decided this might be a diamond in the rough. Mistake. I installed the battery, checked its reported statistics and charged it to full. Spoofed Sanyo brand and model number... no surprise, aftermarket batteries need to do this to get the system to play nice with them, nothing out of the ordinary. After it was charged to full I unplugged the AC power and watched my CPU drop from 2.98ghz boosting to .39ghz (yes, 390mhz). I checked the statistics of the battery, 8 watts drawn. Went into every BIOS and Windows power setting to disable power reduction of any kind, speedstep off, performance modes maxed. No change. The CPU could only draw around 5-8 watts from the battery without the voltage collapsing, bringing my Thinkpad T470s to its knees. I'm not sure if this was just a defective battery or the T470s has counterfeit battery detection in its more recent BIOS versions, but at 37 dollars its not even worth the gamble. Search hard enough you can get an genuine one for that price... hell, 68 bucks will get you one straight from Lenovo. Don't waste your time with this one unless you want to risk sending back one or two until you land on one that actually works. EDIT: After checking (even) more reviews and comparing the battery I received I noticed the "JIAZIJIA" logo was missing from mine, among other discrepancies. I'm suspicious this listing is victim of a product pivot at some point. Some other reviews even mention the same power draw problem I described above and had to have their brand new product replaced. You really want to steer clear from this one.

Great replacement
Was easy to install in my Lenovo and it works great. But unlike the original battery, the cable connector on the replacement battery wasn’t keyed to ensure you can only plug it in the right way around. Still it was easy to figure out based on the colors of the wires.

Updated down to 2 from 4 stars: Performance degrading quickly. Look elsewhere.
UPDATE: Performance had degraded significantly. Now will only power about 1.5-2 hrs with full battery. Does NOT show accurate battery percentage. For instance, today it showed 24% - 1 hr 12 minutes left. Died in 24 minutes - I timed it. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I didn't want to spend the money for an official Lenovo battery. I purchased a total dud off of Ebay...what a mistake. I returned that one for refund. Before shelling out for a Lenovo-branded, I decided to try this one. It is absolutely acceptable at 1/2 price of Lenovo. It never shows 100% charged despite being plugged in using the Lenovo power cable all day, which is odd. That said, it gives me about 3.5 hours for sure, sometimes more. My worn our Lenovo battery only lasted about 2 hrs before konking out. I am pleased with the battery - it performs well for the price. Hopefully I can get a few more years out of my 'ol X1.
