Yes. The manufacturer confirmed the entire product is BPA free including the dispenser.

What is the neasurement of the bottom of the dispenser? Not the top.

The bottom diameter is about 11 inches wide. Height is about 5 inches.

will it leave a plastic after taste?

No, we did not notice a plastic after taste nor smell. However, the nozzle tends to get clogged if the liquid contains particles, such as orange juice pulp. Which requires you to remove the whole valve, clean it out and replace frequently.
