Fabulous pillow and superb customer service
Brilliant pillow! I bought this to help my ears heal after having cartilage piercings. It is working wonderfully as it completely stops any weight on my ear or the piercings getting caught. The pillow comes vacuum packed so you have to let it relax after opening and then scrunch it up a bit to distribute the padding. Once this is done, the pillow holds its shape well and is very comfortable. I liked this so much I’ve shown it to my piercer so that he can recommend it to other clients.

This pillow is not fit for purpose and is a rip off.
When i first got the pillow it seemed very good but after a week the hole disappeared and i checked the instructions and did exactly what it said but all that happened was it made one mega mess of small bits of foam all over the bed and even more mess on the floor. As i am severely disabled this was very hard to clear up. After three attempts to make the pillow do what it is supposed to do, i've now given up and gone back to my old foam ring which cost three pound fifty and works a lot better than the pillow which cost £59-99 and i've never received the spare pillow case they promised to send. "SO PLEASE BE WARNED THIS PILLOW IS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE".

Fantastic!
I bought this product after getting repeated infections following a Daith ear piercing and as a result having a really sore ear. It is extremely comfortable and the discomfort I felt using an ordinary pillow has gone away. I would highly recommend. The after sales support has also been fantastic with the promise of an additional pillowcase and a 5% refund on my original order due to the fact a second pillow case is not available immediately - I hadn’t even realised an additional pillowcase was part of my purchase!

Bedtime bliss!
Love the fact that you can remove some memory foam granules to personalise the depth and fullness of the pillow. Great support for my neck without giving me sore ears like other memory foam pillows that I've tried. Good that it's a normal pillow size too unlike other pillows with holes in middle designed to go on top of another pillow. Much better idea. Follow up from customer service excellent too.

feedback & Questions
The product is doing the job but the zip on the pillowcase has broken and I cannot seem to buy extra pillowcases. Advice would be useful.

Excellent communication & customer service
I ordered this pillow for my wife who can only sleep on one side due to illness and has developed a sore ear - this pillow has really helped the comfort of her ear. I the pillow is customisable by removing some of the memory foam stuffing to optimise comfort. The company has been very helpful with practical suggestions around spare pillow cases.

I confess, I'm in love... with this pillow. In a word, it is heaven. So comfortable AND fulfills all my "physical relief" requirements. Now, you may have one or more of these conditions or, like me, have all of them. But this pillow fills the bill for all three. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea 25 years ago and must sleep on my side - which for me is my right side. Several years ago I was diagnosed with CNH on - you guessed it - my right ear. Lately it has been flaring up frequently and is very painful, which prompted my search for the "just right" pillow with a hole in it! My third concern was that the softness/firmness ratio be "just right" as well to perfectly support my jaw as I sleep on my side (fragile TM joints from a nasty case of TMJ decades ago). Mission Impossible, right? That's what I thought, but not so. THIS pillow is perfect for me for all these issues... and I'm still pinching myself! Try it. With a hundred night love it or return it policy, what have you got to lose. The search for this type of pillow can be really frustrating, I know. So why not start here. It could be the first and last pillow you try!

I am pleased with the way the pillow is made and hopefully it will prevent a recurrence of CNH on my ear. Just had recent surgery for it and I don't want that to happen again. I had to take quit a bit of stuffing out of the pillow today. The first two nights the pillow was so hard I couldn't move my head back and forth. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I'm waiting to see if removing some of the stuffing will make it more comfortable. Also, there was a noticeable odor the first couple of nights. I had to put a towel over it and push it down into the hole to make room for my ear so the towel would mask the odor. Didn't notice it as much last night. Also, when I was removing some of the stuffing this morning, it felt like some of the stuffing had a slight dampness. Not sure if that was the case, or it was just cool to the touch. So far, my ear has been much better. It was still noticeably sore from the surgery and that has not bothered me at all during the night. Just an update on my review. The 'odor' I mentioned wasn't really an odor. More like a vapor. Had I followed the instructions and removed the pillow case and let the pillow air outside for a day, it probably wouldn't have been an issue. I wanted to update the review to mention how conscientious PureComfort has been to make sure I'm satisfied with the pillow. They have sent and followed up on email questions I had and offered to send another type of pillow they manufacture for comparison. I don't recall ever dealing with a company so focused on customer satisfaction. I highly recommend any products they may sell if you want to order from a company that goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is satisfied.

I had a memory foam pillow years ago and it was a solid foam pillow and was uncomfortably warm to sleep on. This is not that way. I wouldn't have known that it was memory foam, the inside looks like cotton to me. It is very comfortable and cool to my head. I have slept on it for a few nights now and there is an odor, I put it outside in the summer sun for a half a day, then put it in the dryer for 20 min with a dryer sheet. Odor still there. Next day I put it out in the sun for the whole day, then dryer with sheet for 20 min, odor still there. Truth is, the odor really isn't bad, just a unique smell and when your ears hurt bad, (from laying on them or laying on pillows all scrunched up to try to do what this pillow does) you don't care about the odor because your ear is finally comfortable! I haven't needed to push the foam around inside too much. I'm 6'2", broad-shouldered, sleep on my side and I find this pillow really comfortable. I'm quite happy with it.

In theory, this pillow is a good idea, and maybe it is if you're bigger than me (5'6"). But there are a couple problems with it as far as I can tell. First off, the foam of the memory foam is great, with the perfect amount of softness -- except near where the hole is. I think this has something to do with the shipping. They ship the pillow by folding it in half and rolling it up. I've had the pillow for weeks now and it still feels like there's not a lot of foam where the fold was. I think the memory foam really "remembers" the fold and has less foam in that section accordingly. That's unfortunate, because that's where you need to lay your head to utilize the hole. Secondly, let's talk about the hole's placement: It's too far into the middle of the pillow. If I place my shoulder at pillow's edge, I have to kind of crane my head to get my ear into the hole, which is the purpose of the hole. I need the hole to be closer to the edge of the pillow. That said, I have been able to scrunch the pillow up some such that it's a little easier to get my ear in there. But, in the middle of the night, it's not always all that easy to remember the technique to get my ear in. Furthermore, because the sides of the pillow are higher than the middle due to the fold, I actually find it's more comfortable for me to sleep with one side of the pillow off the bed such that the pillow doesn't feel like it's ever-so-slightly enveloping my head and face. I'm still giving the pillow three stars because it's still fairly soft and comfortable, and better than the buckwheat-hull pillow I was sleeping on for a while, which wasn't soft enough to allow me very comfortable sleep at all. But it still feels like a design that's lacking for a few different reasons.
