I was using a home made slack tube manometer to troubleshoot my furnace. I decided I needed something better and this had a very reasonable price. Works great, very accurate and repeatable. The package and the manual both state that the battery is included, however the amazon page says it is not. The Amazon page is correct. So plan on providing your own 9 volt battery to power this. Comes with tubing, 1/8" adapter and carrying case. Great accessories.

this thing works good but if you have fluctuating pressures like I work with, it can be a little trying. The screen does not update fast enough and the next thing you know You are flying past your targeted pressure. Will work great if You are working with static pressures.

Bought this to measure static pressure in my hvac system. Price was excellent and it does the job. I can't speak to accuracy as I have nothing to compare it to. The tubing that it comes with is super short and I had to purchase new tubing. Display only shows one measurement and if using both ports it will only show the difference in the two.

This has worked very well for me and the price can't be beat. I got a pair of static pressure sensors and use it to measure my furnace, including when the filter needs replacing. Also ordered a used Pitot tube on E-Bay and can now measure flow rate. Note this unit is differential (can be used single ended). Some of the expensive ones are actually two separate sensors so one can get two single ended readings at once as well as the difference between them. But not having that is a minor inconvenience. Range is appropriate for HVAC use.

Unfortunately this thing was complete junk. I bought it for a project by the time it came I no longer needed it. I kept it thinking it would be a good tool to have around. I recently needed it, got it out and it was useless. Never really used it and something in the circuitry had gone bad.

I tried one I of these for a leakdown test on my house LP pipes. It showed a leak in a 10" stub, but no bubbles showed up. So I put 10" of pressure in the short hose and clamped it off. The pressure dropped rapidly, and no bubbles anywhere on the hose or barb. I can only conclude that the meter leaks internally. I did not want to submerse the meter. The yellowjacket that I also recently purchased worked perfectly. Also, the power button was flakey. Maybe I got a lemon, but I sent it back and won't be trying another.

I needed an air pressure meter to measure the pressure of my gas supply for a new fire pit that I had installed. Although this particular meter can also measure differential, I only used it to measure a single source. The measurement in inches of water (also called water column) was easily obtained. I first connected the included tubing and connector to the left input connector and recorded a negative reading. I then moved the tubing to the right input connector and recorded the same reading, but this time as a positive value. They are not marked and the instructions don't specify which input is positive or negative. Easy enough to figure out though. I'm glad I chose this unit as it proved to be more accurate compared to reviewing a measurement on a mechanical dial.

Seems nice I just wish the port would have been bigger to small for the hoses on a furnace
